Aether Bastion strips idle defense down to its essence: you grow a keep on a single lattice while waves of enemies swarm around its perimeter. Spend scrap gathered mid-run to strengthen your defenses, then bank cores as prestige currency to power permanent upgrades. The co-op mode lets two to four players defend simultaneously on separate devices, making it ideal for those who want collaborative progression without real-time coordination overhead.
