Cooking Trip: Back on the Road is a time-management cooking game where you run a food service operation across multiple locations. You'll tackle orders under pressure, unlock recipes, and progress through levels designed to test your multitasking skills. Fans of the Cooking Dash style will find familiar satisfaction in the fast-paced service loop, though the experience is relatively brief at around seven to eight hours for full completion.

Playing this directly after "Katy & Bob: cake cafe" was kinda a mistake.. I really like this type of time-management in which you have to complete orders, but the Katy & bob series feels a bit more polished, which is a bit weird since this is the newer game. In-game this has the same achievements as the later 2 Katy & bob games, but only a few achievements are linked through steam. This results in that you only have to do the goals and reach the expert score on the first 20 levels for 100% completion. The expert goals in this one feel easier than in the Katy & Bob series, which makes it easier to complete this game.

Another thing that wasn't as polished as I wish it was it that the most right drink in the game has a small hitbox, if you click at the top of those you'll go to the counter of the special dishes instead of picking up a drink. I didn't notice this in the first world, but in the later 2, I noticed it a lot and had to click very low on the rightmost drink to be able to pick it up.

This all may sound very negative but isn't meant that way, but there is room for improvement in future titles. I still enjoyed the game a lot and it is easy to complete this game.

So far this game hasn't been worth the money at all. First, I couldn't even type in my name to start the game, as it just restarted the screen each time. Then when I managed to eventually pass the name screen, I start playing, get to level 3 and then my character doesn't move at all. Can't play the game anymore. Please fix the bugs!

If you love the cooking dash TM (time management) style games I am sure you will LOVE this game as much as I.

My only criticism maybe would be it could use a couple more locations; but that isn't really a detriment.

Don't hesitate ~ it's challenging and lots of fun.
