This is a pretty cool game, with an interesting build mechanics and limitless, steady progression. There's a lot to like and it has the potential to be an amazing idler/clicker. It can be played and enjoyed without P2W stuff even though it's there. I have give it a 'not recommended' however as there are a few game breaking bugs, one of which prompted this review and a bittersweet uninstall after 3500 hours.-Local save does not work. It appears to be an engine bug. There are multiple posts in the steam forum about it, although there's a few people posting that are unaffected by it. This isn't a huge deal itself, but...-The latest update erased my singularity points and blanked my filled symbol. What the heck does that mean you ask?Singularity points are given when entering a black hole, which is this this game's "rebirth" equivalent. Symbols take 4 singularity points to fill for a legendary power. After 3500 hours, I had 5 points and one(!) filled symbol. All of that's gone and I can't roll it back because local save doesn't work...cloud save is loaded every time with no workaround. This ruined the fun I was having, and coupled with absolute silence from the devs in the forum regarding any issues, it's a thumbs down from me. It was fun while it lasted.

What players are saying
pretty fun, but I think we need to be able to hover over skills we don't have the required stats for. For instance, I can't make smart choices if I don't know that the assassin mask will make me crit every 1st strike if I don't put points in dex. Making smart choices are what afk games are about. There is some excitement to the exploration approach but It kinda sucks to waste a day or more to get enough skill points to find the skill behind the requirement won't help your build.
The mechanics are interesting, but progress is slow and it does not advance much without interaction. Worth a try still.
