A game about collecting items and finding the exit in a maze.

Here is everything you can imagine about 3D labyrinths.
A huge number of different randomly generated mazes.
Large number of scale options, difficulty setting and navigation assistance options.

Gameplay:

You need to find a way out of the 3D maze.
Each time the maze is generated differently based on the settings that you specify in the game menu.
Time game. You can compete with yourself in the speed of finding the exit.
Statistics are recorded for different variants of the scale and difficulty levels of the labyrinths.

Time for one game:

• from tens of seconds at the easiest level.
• up to several hours at the most difficult level.

1. A large number of options for settings and levels of difficulty.
2. The maze is generated every time a new one randomly.
3. Several different navigation assistance options are available.
4. Additional options for complicating tasks are available in the form of the need to find and collect objects inside the maze.
5. Different time statistics are saved for all difficulty options.

1. If you play for a long time, then the music can get bored. I was unable to find the mute button.
2. Despite the fact that the game has different themes for different labyrinths, if you play for a very long time, you may want more varied and better graphics.
   But in this case, the game would have cost much more.

Conclusions:

Nice little cheap game for training memory and logic.
Maybe you will like it if you are looking for some kind of game for little money to keep your brain busy for a while.
For fans of the maze theme, it will be possible to spend a lot of time here, as there is a wide variety of settings for randomly generating new labyrinths.
It can also be a game that allows you to distract yourself, relax, and take a short break from large, complex games.

After writing this game review, I started writing suggestions for improving the game to the developer.
And the developer asked me to help him. And now we began to work together on updating the game, which I hope we will finish soon.

The game, where you try to find the escape from a labyrinth

Every time the way generated anew. The faster you find a way out the better. The game has many options and settings, which define the task in the game.

Inexpensive price and different options for passing are the main advantages of the game. Control from the keyboard or gamepad.

The music is normally selected but eventually gets boring.

Labyrinth: The Exit Is Closer is a fun maze game. You have 12 "levels" in total and I say "levels" as they are more like stages.
There are mostly layout changes and, depending on the difficulty, your task and the way to get out of the maze.
You start simple, just find your way out. On higher difficulties you try to find diamonds (some are "hidden") and/or unlock door to proceed through the exit door. It's a fun gimmick that prolongs your stay in the maze and you get to practice your memory! But you have and some help from the diamonds you collect via the exchange menu, those give you tools to help you in your journey (like ways to see if you got past a certain point or a way to mark a direction).

The game can last from a few seconds to minutes to even 1-2 hours (estimation from what I've seen so far) if you are unlucky or have a bad sense of direction and of course you can simple walk around and try to collect everything and pass some time in the nice corridors.

The graphics could use a new brush but they are still pleasant. What can get boring fast is the music but it's generic so it won't annoy you.
From time to time you may get a crash on exiting the level and/or some minor lags, "jumps", or flickering floors but none of these will stop you from enjoying the game, if you like mazes and puzzles.

The game lacks options/settings and a controls page but from "esc" inside the game it will tell you what you need as well as this steam page. Very simple controls though and many camera options from clicking the mouse although I prefer the simple camera and to navigate with the arrows.

All in all it is a fun game that could use some minor improvements but it's perfectly playable and enjoyable for short periods of time or even hours if you feel like staying long enough.
