Viking Idle features a dual prestige system where you accumulate resources through clicking and automation, then reset your progress to gain permanent bonuses and unlock new content. The game targets casual players seeking straightforward incremental gameplay with Norse-themed aesthetics. However, reviews suggest the current release lacks sufficient depth and content to justify its price point.

As a new developer, it is never easy to know the exact wishes of the community in advance. So we did the only right thing and we asked you, the community, about the quality of the game and what changes you would recommend. Now that we have received enough feedback from the Steam discussions as well as by email, we have prepared our first patch for you and made it live. Patch Notes of the "We heard you"-Patch: All reported bugs have been fixed. The numbers of damage have been adjusted and "a little more math" has been put into the code. The game should be much more balanced now. We thank you for your support and feedback!
