Gigapocalypse puts you in control of a customizable kaiju that auto-progresses through levels while you mash the attack button to deal damage and manage cooldowns. The game runs largely on its own with minimal player input beyond clicking, making it a smartphone-style idle clicker dressed up in a monster-movie aesthetic that delivers little of the interactive destruction promised by its Rampage inspiration.
About this game
Become a customizable giant monster with manifold skills in Gigapocalypse, inspired by classical Kaijū movies such as “Godzilla” and “King Kong” and the game classic “Rampage”.

There is no this info on the game's page, but it is a clicker. You won't beat half the bosses if you don't torture your mouse to death. The faster you click, the stronger you are. Gigapocalypse tries to sell like an arcade game with Rampage spirit, but its basis is a smartphone timewaster. With the right tags and on other platform it would be fine. Sadly, this game is not what it pretends to look.
Extremly boring game, that runs 90% itself and your only major contribution is clicking the attack button over and over and ..... over and over again. If you think reading my review is boring try playing this game and you will learn the true meaning of boredom.
Rampage this is not. Can you climb buildings? No. Can you smash up buildings? Not really, they just instantly explode to pieces. Can you control your character? Well, not walking or jumping or anything like that, no. You just move forward with no control but button mashing attacks that have to recharge as you lose HP or with time. The people in the cut scenes and dialogue scenes look like muppets and I really hate that style. There's no blood or guts when attacking human beings either. Is this like Rampage? Not at all except there's giant monsters. The "lore" for each monster before game is pretty lame too. It's like it was written by an 8 year old; one even claims despite researching a monster in 1827 "they used sonar" to "explore" it... what? A cut scene at one part has a character saying they will fight a giant monster again for "their great ancestors." ...what? It feels like a cellphone game... there's even an auto-attack feature in options so you could literally just sit there and let the game play itself? Kind of like a cellphone idler game? I'm not pleased with this purchase.
