Fastest Hands In The WASD blends Wild West theming with incremental progression, replacing typical clicking with WASD key tapping to fire customizable weapons. The game offers both an offline-friendly idle mode with substantial content and active challenge modes like Showdown and Training to test your typing speed, appealing to fans of deep incremental systems like Clicker Heroes who want more variety and less grinding.

Playthrough W/ all character pages and time stamps here: https://youtu.be/erJVn3EDHSE

Just played the full version that just came out and this is the BEST idle game I've played, I've played clicker heroes, idle champions, soda dungeon 1 and 2, and many many many MORE this is in the style of clicker heroes, but seems to have a lot more content without as much repetition. There's not as many upgrades but the enemies are all dope I love how much stuff you can unlock from pets to event cosmetics etc. The music is super nice which is dope if you like to play actively and playing actively seems to have a STRONG effect on the game. Definitely recommend this if you love idle games.

TLDR - Worth the money for the idle mode, and the idle mode is very good! Other sections of the game are fun for a bit but unpolished. Keep in mind this review was made during Patch 11 so things will undoubtedly change.

Idle mode is great, and is one of the best idlers I've ever played no doubt. There's enough content and fun references to keep you entertained for as long or as little as you want. The animations are fun and clever; the weapons, elements, critical system, and hats are very interesting too. If I had to make one critique here I'd say the pacing is a bit off; it starts out sluggish for the first 15ish waves (can be skipped after getting an in-game upgrade) and then by the time you've got your fifth or sixth gold hat you literally can't click fast enough to spend the silver you've accrued. After your 50th prestige it is a racing game for how fast you can click, and you won't spend your money before it's time to prestige again.

Showdown and practice are underwhelming. Ideally the simple WASD combo would have been kept to idle mode and showdown would have given you random combos that you had to work through (SADW, WSDA, etc) in order to keep you on your feet. The 12th boss is very fun, some friends and I sat around for a few hours working at beating him. Practice mode, unfortunately, feels like a waste of space. Would have liked to see a co-op where you can play against another person on the arrow keys, or a cowboy customizer to change the color of the cowboy's vest, etc.

The Easter eggs are amazing right until the last one. (WARNING: spoilers for the Easter egg hunt. I'd recommend hunting on your own first!) First two are great, third ruined my fun. I had to pull the audio out of the game, throw it into adobe premiere, and slow it down to 15% speed just to decipher it. It turned a gratifying hunt into an absolute slog of frustration that I only finished to 100% the game. Way too fast and I think you would benefit from playing that audio for testers in the future. Ridiculous clues are fine but players should be able to solve them in-game.

Overall the art is fantastic and the gameplay was smooth and polished; no weird bugs, everything felt very intuitive. The music ended up being above and beyond the quality of average indie games, and I was blown away with the talent shown. Just some modes weren't as fun and you might consider trimming the tutorial down. But I can feel the love that you put into it, and it's worth more than $3. Very nice job! Keep it up.

The full release is finally here! After 3 months of additions and improvements, we think the game is in the perfect spot for a wider audience. Thanks a bunch to all of the Early Access players for the feedback and suggestions along the way! With that being said, let's get into the patch. Additions: second WASD music album (40+ total minutes of OST now!) in-game guide (located in the options menu in Idle Mode) pet naming and info (can rename pets and see their weight and nature) golden enemy particle effect AZERTY keyboard compatibility (toggle in options) Mac OS support (for versions before 10.15) setting to turn off clouds (toggle in options) progress visualizations (background objects added every 50 waves up to wave 500) rare time-warp enemy (that if defeated skips 10 waves) Fixes and QoL: clicking outside of the escape menu closes it settings button opens up the escape menu escape menu moved to a more convenient location opening a menu will close other left open menus added UI elements explaining how to unlock unlockable features various wardrobe page changes improving clarity various achievement page changes improving clarity various login page changes improving clarity made all options and settings pages open the same way made all X's feel responsive changed all scroll bars to match the UI more pets kick back slightly when firing outfit and weapon layering adjusted quotes will not fade when their corresponding enemy fades Balance: Only balance changes this time around are some small reworks to the way HP scaling works. In general these changes should punish players more for only using 1 weapon (or 1 elemental interaction if you're using a pet), and also make getting through the late-late game (wave 5000+) a lot easier. If you're having trouble mowing through bosses after this patch, I'd suggest bringing a backup weapon. The changes will also make the early game slightly faster, which could come in extra handy if you want to try out one of the official speedrun ...
