ScreenSpace demands rapid, precise clicks as colored shapes spawn across your screen in increasingly chaotic patterns. Your reflexes and concentration are the only tools you have to rack up points before the difficulty overwhelms you. Best suited for players seeking quick, skill-based challenges rather than progression systems or narrative.

Hotfix: 1.2.1Bug Fixes:Resolved an issue where fullscreen toggle did not function. The fullscreen toggle has been reenabled!Fixed an issue with applying settings in the options menu would return the game window to fullscreenFound and fixed an issue preventing resolution settings from applying to windowed mode.Screen Resolution Changes:Due to too many dropdown choices slowing down the scroll speed for the resolution list, available resolutions have been simplified to a small selection of commonly used monitor sizes. Additionally, VSync will be always enabled by default for each option, further reducing clutter. Upon first launching the game, the resolution will match your current monitor size. Available screen resolutions will be present in the options menu depending on which ones your monitor can support. The following resolution options are available:1280x7201366x7681920x10802560x14403840x2160I'll be testing more of this update, in case anything else needs fixing. Thank you again for playing ScreenSpace!

Hey, all. I hope you're doing well!A recent event happened with Unity that prompted pushing the 1.2 update forward. On 10/3/2025, Unity Technologies officially announced they've discovered a security vulnerability for projects built in Unity version 2017.1 and beyond. This affects Windows, Linux, Android and macOS. Although they report no noticeable exploitations as a result, they've highly recommended all Unity developers to patch their installed releases and publish updates for their games using the patched installations.Don't worry, you're safe from exploits for this game. ScreenSpace is a fully offline game, and there currently isn't any evidence of the game being a risk by simply playing, offline or not. If you'd like their official statement, here's the link:https://discussions.unity.com/t/unity-platform-protection-take-immediate-action-to-protect-your-games-and-apps/1688031Being transparent about stuff like this is important, because it can ultimately change the course of a game when handled poorly. Which brings us to the next part of the announcement.Version 1.2 is on the way!I figured, since I had to update the game anyway to patch the security flaw, I may as well push out the 1.2 update as well. This one's a small update, but contains a few changes I've wanted to make.Patch preview:Overall changesScreenSpace was updated from Unity 2019 to Unity 6Code improvements were made, allowing easier patching of the game moving forwardThe startup splash screens for Unity and the developer logo were removed (yay!)Following splash screen removal, the credits were updated to specify the game was made in Unity, as well as the developer nameDefault game FPS now follows your screen refresh rate when starting the game for the first timeRefactored options menu to be more compact, with nonfunctional items removed (fullscreen, FPS cap).
