Mildly interesting for about 10 minutes. Plays a bit like the hex board game. The mouse AI is primitive, the levels don't seem to get harder or change and there are audio glitches

Mouser Hunter is a masterpiece of video game narrative. Nothing else even comes close nowadays. The story is bold, and almost always "fun". It is harrowing, forcing the player to confront feet in a way most video games have never done.

In a medium where everything is John Wick, Mouser Hunter is Schindler's List. And just like that film, there were times when I wasn't sure I could keep going. It is a relentless emotional assault that I suspect will force even the most vanilla gamer to feel emotion.

The game is a work of art - every aspect feels crafted at the highest level. Visuals, audio, controls, animation, puzzle design, performance. It is absolutely astounding. And frequently beautiful. With moments you NEVER find in other video games. But I cannot overstate how creative it is.

In short, Mouser Hunter put me through hell. I enjoyed it. I was supposed to. I was affected by it, like no game before. I am in awe of it. I am recovering from it. 10 out of 10.

Mouse Hunter is a "template/construction kit flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional "product" on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case they used GameMaker Studio templates/assets for doing a simple trap placement puzzle game as you lay down traps to prevent the object from getting to it's objective (in this case a mouse, to cheese).

GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one.

No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers.

This is nothing but a lazy, greedy cash grab and should be avoided. The "cash grab" status of this shovelware is confirmed by the low quality, the way it was produced with the GameMaker Studio construction kit rather than being a genuinely made game, and the ludicrous $10 USD price tag for this bundle worsener.
