Hidden Kittens: Kingdom of Cats

Another enjoyable cat game from Pinel Games. I really enjoy the art style and had plenty of laughs at the many notable character references.

A nice touch that makes this entry stand out among cat seek games is having the ability to proceed into other area's as if really exploring a kingdom. You have the main overview of 121 cats and then four new locations connected with roughly 60 cats each. And to suit all vision there are many color customization options available for the background, lines, and cat colors.

Hidden Kittens: Kingdom of Cats is a highly interactive and fun seek and find cat game set in a medieval kingdom with all kinds of magical beings!

Gameplay & Features

Settings include; Audio controls, fullscreen or windowed (adjustable), cursor appearance and language options.

Highlights

* Hint system that is rechargeable
* Auto saves your progress
* Zoom features well implemented
* Achievements easy to obtain (but may not pop up till after closing the game)
* So many easter eggs (can you spot all the famous characters)?
* The map is interactive so click on items to find cats hidden in or behind objects!
* You can change the background colors of the maps with preset colors or pick your own, also change colors for the cats and the interface

Overall Experience

A really fun game that has multiple levels you unlock as you find the required number of cats to open the areas. The maps are highly interactive, the cats meow as you click them but the characters and other animals react when clicked as well. The people in the scenes are done up as cute chibi and some of the cats and scenes are pretty humorous with lots of easter eggs to find. The soundtrack is medieval sounding to go with the magical theme.

I really enjoyed this one and hope to see more seek & find games from Pinel Games in the future. Wholesome and highly recommended. 🐈

I picked this one over all the other similar games because you can pick the colors, and I don't regret it one bit. The art is absolutely adorable, and people and critters make little sounds if you click on them.

The cats are hidden on one big and three small maps, and in addition to the ones in plain sight, each map has a bunch of cats you only find if you interact with other objects. There is a hint function, which is nice, though the game is not very hard.

The achievements are stubborn and I had to restart the game a few times to get them to unlock, but in the end, they unlocked.
