In a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has abandoned Earth, you defend a relic of human civilization against hostile creatures using a cannon-based defense system. The game offers straightforward tower-defense-style gameplay with basic 3D visuals, best suited for players seeking a no-frills, low-pressure survival experience.

"Protect The Treasure" is, well, terrible. It's like a tech demo or a school assignment... basically just shoot stuff with a lame cannon. There's no real game of any depth or interest here, I think this was probably a waste of spending $100 on Steam Direct.

This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that.

This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good.

Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away.

Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it?

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. What are doing here, grading homework assignments?

Before I played Protect The Treasure, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
