An interesting, short game this is that only has one mechanic: click to ensure your protagonist digs a hole. Although the store page refers to it as a clicker game, here achievements are not related to thousands or even millions of clicks and there are no rewards for them, therefore, it is not your usual type of clicker software. After a click a digging animation is being played that lasts for several seconds. Still, if you want, you can use an auto-clicker just to ensure you are done with your playthrough faster and without any hassle. Dig has an eerie atmosphere: someone digging a hole late at night while it is raining cats and dogs. The monochromatic aesthetic only adds to this feeling. As you progress you are gradually becoming slower - you can see that digging a hole is becoming a chore for our "hero". But what is the purpose here? You'll find out once you finish your first walkthrough. I believe the message is Biblical and it can be summed up by the following proverb: "Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them." If you have some spare time pick this one up. It is free and easy to complete and get all the 'cheevos. And perhaps it will make you ponder a little about life.

To dig, or not to dig, that is the question. The gameplay is rather monotone but I liked the overall atmosphere. 6,5/10 - Would dig again. Great game for 100 % completion of all achievements.
Press just about any button to dig a hole! The game looks great, and is soundtracked by the soothing sounds of a severe thunderstorm. I'm sure the story has deep messages about the fleeting nature of life and death,or the futility of living for meaningless and unfulfilling work, but what I personally took away from this was the fact that I spent over an hour digging a hole in the rain of my own free will. A truly emotional and eye-opening experience. 10/10 would faceplant into my grave again.
