Mia Faircroft explores a French alpine village to uncover hidden objects, solve puzzles, and restore antiques across interconnected scenes. This entry in the series introduces time pressure and score multipliers alongside the familiar hidden-object-and-puzzle loop, moving faster than its predecessors while weaving character-driven mysteries throughout. Best suited for players who enjoy methodical exploration and don't mind a brisk pace between story beats.

I'm glad I saved this game for last and played the rest of the Faircroft's Antiques games first because if I had played this first, I would've never played the rest. The rest of the games are much more relaxed (casual) than this one. This one has a timer and multiplier and you don't get the nice break between chapters. You barely get any of the story before you're bounced quickly right into another timed search. The rest of the games were more about the story and were much more relaxed and allowed you to play at your pace. This can definitely be a great game if you don't care about the story or being truly casual but if you enjoy something slower and less rushed, play the other Faircroft's Antiques games instead and skip this one.

Edit: I decided to give it a go and finish the game. I stand by what I said. This was much less satisfying and much less enjoyable compared to the other 4 Faircroft's Antiques games. I stand by what I said: if I had played this first, I wouldn't have even tried the other 4.

Of all things the apple cross stitch mini game image on the store page is what sold me to play this game next in the series. It plays similar to other Faircroft's Antiques games where you get repetitive hidden object scenes, puzzles in between, and a lot of character drama Mia has to solve while trying to do her job. Not the most riveting game to play so your mileage may vary but this is the type of HOG you some times crave when in a break from some of the more indepth story HOPAs. The mouths of the characters were pretty silly to look at in some scenes.

The game keeps you intrigued and the story seems to be well written. I would recommend this game to anyone. Also, it's clean.
