Easy achievements and the music has some nice bass. Just get it on a sale because it´s not worth 20 bucks.
BeachRun presents itself as a desktop version of Subway Surfers, but unfortunately, it doesn’t hold up against the famous mobile game. The overall quality of the product is significantly lower, and the first impression is downright annoying: upon launching the game, you're greeted with a song at a ridiculously high volume, with the only options being to either mute it or turn it back on, with no intermediate volume control. This choice is particularly unpleasant, considering the developer promised to make the game less boring precisely with this feature ( GAME INFORMATION : Music will not make you bored ). Too bad they forgot to warn us that the "trade-off" would be the loss of our hearing. Fortunately, I managed to platinum the game in about 17 minutes before being overwhelmed by boredom. I think this is the "procedural difficulty" the developer was talking about ( GAME INFORMATION : Difficulty is an integral part of the game ). In fact, despite the frustrating attempts, it's nearly impossible to die: health regenerates almost instantly, and the obstacles are spaced so far apart that they don't pose any real danger. Essentially, it’s such a simple experience that it feels more like an exercise for beginner developers than an actual game. The sense that the game was made in very little time is palpable. Fortunately, I didn’t have to pay the 20 € it costs, as I received BeachRun for free with the purchase of another product from an external platform to Steam. The only aspect worth mentioning positively is the graphics, which unfortunately seem to be a pre-made asset. There’s no sense of originality or attention to detail, which contributes to the impression of a "copy-paste" product. I can't help but wonder if those who left positive reviews really played this game, or if, more likely, they were thinking of another title.
