Immortal Family is a clan management sim set in a cultivation world where you establish and expand a family dynasty across mystical islands. Build your sect through resource management and strategic conquest, absorbing rival clans and exploring dangerous territories while your family members gain power and influence. Best suited for players who enjoy dynasty builders and deep systems-driven gameplay with significant time investment.
First of all: The game has a translation in Amateur Modding Avenue discord so you can grab it from there. It is well edited MTL so you don't have surnames or names translated to English or anything blatantly bad like that but there are some confusing parts. It is certainly playable.
Immortal Family is about managing your own clan in a cultivation world. Basically it's Xianxia CK3-lite.
It is surprisingly deep. I suggest you to play the tutorial before doing anything.
My advice is to always use your points on clan creation to get extra members. The initial start is very bumpy otherwise. In addition you should be disabling the celebrity feature. Celebrities are main characters of popular novels such as Reverend Insanity, Battle Through The Heavens etc. they are very OP and make your run feel weird.
Now to the game: You start with a flying boat on a sea of sand or an actual sea. It can devour Islands to grow. You can also invade and make bases out of other islands. You can vassalize other clans, get captives and assimilate them to your clan, fight demonic beasts out in the sea, make or break alliances with other forces.
All clans, including yours have bloodlines. In addition there are inheritable traits and special cultivation physiques. The key to victory is to channel your inner Hyuuga Hiashi and make the greatest eugenics project ever since your last Crusader Kings run.
There are literally hundreds of cultivation techniques and battle skills. You can get them from adventures, purchase them from merchants, acquire them from your clan's secret inheritance tower and so on...
The battles are quite like Dominions. They are autobattlers but you determine which skills will be used in what order. The AI is decent.
Diplomacy is better than most games. But nothing spectacular. There is a setting that increases AI aggressiveness, shut that down, it is "the hard mode" which is enabled from the start for some reason. Due to its mechanics, it makes diplomacy worse, since it makes everyone aggressive, including your allies. Later on it adds more challenges for a "crapsack world" run.
Building and Plot management becomes a little tedious but there are menus for managing all your holdings from one menu.
You will have to manage a lot of different plants and fishes to make pills or food.
You will have to line up a lot of alchemy furnaces for your clan's needs.
You will have to setup a foundry to make items.
You can turn your island into a resort by putting down inns and markets.
You can raise demonic beasts by getting their eggs/cubs.
I am sure there are some things I have missed. There is a lot to do in this game.
Alright guys, the game is good for simulation game about cultivation and the guys in AMA discord have English translation available for it. It's much more playable and you can understand what you need to do to pass certain things in the game. They are still working on translating more stuff as well. So whoever is interested go to https://discord.gg/MjbCCj44WX . And look for Cultivation Clan Simulator. The mods and the people are really good and helpful! Please make sure to give prompts to the developer of the game as well he did a really good job.
