My Bloody Weekend

The game is priced about right at 1-2 bucks.
Its about 20 minutes to a half hour of fun to get through it.
There are 2 endings.
The music is awesome, straight 80s slasher like.
The kills are off camera and not gory, so don't buy it for the gore.

There are 4 buttons to press, A B C D, so the hand is a bit cramped up, probably would have been better with the buttons more spaced out across the keyboard.

Wish it had a bigger budget and was longer, we need more of these types of games.

I think this is a fun little FMV Horror game. It's jank, it's retro, the sound design is essentially just music and sound effects added in post which I'm not sure is intended or not? There are a lot of situations in which you'll find yourself asking, "Why the heck was this made? How was this made? Who was this made for?"

The answers are: For fun, with rocks and sticks, and for ME. I love this dumb horror stuff and if you're a fan of cheesy amateur horror then you might like it too.

CONS:
My biggest issue with this game is that you have to start over any time you die. The game itself is incredibly easy, but that doesn't mean you'll want to spend 10 minutes catching up to where you were just because you looked away for a second or were distracted. I was able to get all endings in about 40 minutes and that's because I died twice from being distracted by other stuff going on.

Overall, I think this game is worth getting. For two bucks, you're getting 20ish minutes of really dumb, amateur entertainment or you're subjecting someone else to 20 minutes of awfulness.

Both options are a win in my book.
