This is an interesting idea and it's a nice casual game if you like the premise. Run around, hide, lay your eggs, survive as long as possible. It's straightforward and it works. I feel it needs a little bit of polish though, for example, it would benefit immensely from a few "missions" like objectives, like 'lay X amount of eggs' or 'eat X amount of apples'. A simple counter for how many eggs you managed to lay in a particular run would also make the replay value for this go up by a lot. I don't know how hard that stuff is to implement it, but I feel like it would really help the long-term enjoyment of a title like this. That said, Cockroach Sim tries to be different and it actually pulls it off, offering an unique, if not odd, experience. The whole ocean exploration thing was quite a charming touch, I knew this cockroach was special all along! Bravo!

https://youtu.be/ioX5cl8rf4E https://rumble.com/v2i0ehg-cockroach-simulator-household-survivor-gameplay-indie-survival-sim.html Update: It seems that the game has been updated since the release day and now there are no rats (they've added a dog lol) and there is more light in the house. Life as a cockroach is so hard... especially when the owner of the apartment has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rats that guard his place lol. This indie sim game will have you play a cockroach that has to eat, lay eggs and run from the human, rat and a robot vacuum cleaner lol. You can also explore the sea by going through the drain 😅. This can be a really fun game if the devs add some objectives, perks, more rooms, more light or brightness, also resolve some of the performance issues and lower the rats aggressivity.
This game is fun :) There may not look like there is a ton to do other than survive, but honestly it is pretty addictive to try to spawn as many roaches as possible and just run around and explore! There might even be a secret or more to find and venture forth and find. I hope more gets added as time goes on :)
