Very pretty artwork with a creepy atmosphere. I feel like this game would be more successful as a mobile game than for pc. It is very much what I would consider a 'time waster' game like something you would play while sitting and waiting in the doctor's office. The puzzles are VERY simple and most of them I would loosely call puzzles. Just tasks that need to be completed while being under time constraints. Also, I found the tasks that required you to turn knobs or dials were not very mouse friendly. Had a really hard time getting things to spin on turn with this one. And while rubbing Cthulhu's belly was highly amusing, having to 'aggressively' rub it, caused my whole desk to shake lol.
As a mobile game, I would say I highly recommend it, but as a pc game, I would have to say it's a pass.

Edit:
The developer took the time to listen to player feedback and adjust the game play. There was no ill intent with the initial review of this game, and the developer realized this. Not only have there been two more updates, the developer made sure to kindly explain the new changes and I was successful in completing it AND had a lot of fun. This game, as it is now, is definitely worth the price. I am extremely thankful to the developer for listening to the reviews and taking the time to look at their work and allow criticism to not affect how they treat the player. It says a lot about them and makes me feel like they care about delivering a great product and not just generating money. Thank you for your time and attention to the issues we had!

Original Review:
While the premise of this game feels like A Little to the Left, it lacks variety and the ability to successfully complete tasks within the time given. The "race-against-the-clock" idea is not bad and the story/theme is really quite good. It's just small issues that really make this more frustrating than fun. Is it worth $2 to $3? Yes and no. Did I personally get an amount of play time out of it that makes it worth it, yes. Did that time really just make me more angry at repetitive tasks that I had no chance at completing or a game that crashes when I am just seconds away from completing the game itself...yes. Right now, I would not recommended it. Add some more puzzles, a timing system that's not completely against the player and the review might change.

Good game! It’s obvious that a lot of care went into making this. The artwork is beautiful, the lore is good, music and sound effects are pleasant, and cut scenes are well done. The developer was understanding and responsive to quickly address an issue with the original release which is greatly appreciated.
The puzzles are pretty good. Some are very easy like rubbing Cthulhu’s belly, others are a little more time intensive, such as the gas pump. Most of the puzzles are randomized so there’s definite replay value there.
It’s a fun little relaxing puzzle game at a good price. I like the lighthouse theme and would definitely be up for future installments that further explore the lore surrounding Beacon’s Bluff.
