Farm Together 2

Lets be Honest this is just Lazy, You release a new game called Farm Together 2 but it should really be called Farm Together Remastered. You just updated the graphics and made it a little more complicated by adding a town in which you will place your storage upgrades. Plants are the same, trees, fish ect... if you played this first one you played this one. I enjoy playing farm together but was really hoping for some better content on this one. I made the review to recommend the game to other interested parties but just know its not really different from the first one.

This game just went from a positive pre-release to a thumbs down.

The devs as of yesterday 30th surprised everyone by suddenly stating the game is now fully released. Comments from other players (myself included) are straight up saying this is is NO way ready to be labeled as a full release. The reply from the devs was "well the game as a lot of content in it." Yes, for pre-release that's true but the first game has considerably more. I'd dare say while this games offers some new experiences those are rather empty. The mine is a nice addition but to be honest it's kind of meh. The town is basically npcs that walk around and offer the same quests with no dialogue and you vendor your goods. As it is the town is more bloat than anything. A town with people where there's no interaction other than basic quests? Why other than it's there to be there. If it's content then it's eye candy content and adds nothing to the experience.

The devs then proceed to not only surprise their fans with a sudden "full release" but then say they are going to start work on porting the game to console. This is WAY to early in the game for that sort of thing unless it's just a quick cash grab. Their choices aren't wise and as it stands shaft the players. I'd say buy the first game, it has much more to offer even with no DLC. This game is only half the experience that only offers some slightly better graphics. I'll change my review if they get back on track but this not it, not by a long shot.

Last note and by even the devs admission proving this game wasn't ready for release are the character models. They stated in the forums the models were currently very basic place holders because the game is in development. Those models haven't been changed or improved. So by their own unintended admission it shows the game is not deserving of the title "full release".

OK, I played for 3 hours, its enough, time to log out...
Oh, 2 minutes til next season, I will wait and harvest the trees i need for this quest...
OK, trees done... ah... chickens are ready OK, lets collect eggs so the new ones will be here when I come back
Ah, fish ponds all ready, I will just collect those and then im realy off...
OK, its season to plant this one season only crop, ill do that so its ready when i come back
Mmm... ok I better go sell things now so Im ready to harvest as soon as I land here tomorrow
OK, all sold, I can log out now, ahh flowers are ready now, better harvest them now so they grow again when im not here...
Oh, what is that new unlocked flower, lets plant some...
Ahh... potatoes are ready, just harvest them so the quest is complete...
Oh, new quest is eggplants, they grow long, lets plant those so they are gonna be almost ready when Im back...
Oh... its almost spring again... lets wait 2 minutes so I can plant my fave strawberries and they can grow when im not here...
Oh, raspberries are ready too, lets get them cuz they precious...
Ahh... pumpkins are gonna be ready in just 5 minutes... ok, lets wait, harvest, plant new ones and im done...
Oh better go sell some veggies now, because i may max out veggies when harvesting pumpkins...
Oh wow, these cute little flowers are ready now, lets cut them nice...
Ah, forgot i had a carrot cake in the oven... oh this melody is sweet.. lets paint granma...
OK, pumpkins and im done...
Wow, i can collect those trees before i leave...
Gosh, better sell all those fruits now, so i can collect new when im back...
Ahh... fish are ready, lets get them...
OK, need some lettuce or cows wont have food when im back, lets plant some...
Dang, I dont have cereals for the chickens, lets plant some of these too
OK... granma's portrait is almost ready, lets make next stage and Im done for real...
OK, i played 6 hours, time to log out i need real food!
Ah, 2 minutes til next season, lets wait and harvest just a few of those trees... ah and those fish will be ready too...
OK, I played for 8 hours... need to log out... oh wow, grapes are just 4 minutes and they are ready...
