Similar to its cousins, Hime's Blossom and Neko Maid, I don't recommend it, but it's a less severely negative review than before. This one has at least some improvements over those other two. I didn't even bother trying the puzzles this time. The developers still include the Cntrl + D to just auto-solve the puzzle, and again, that's to their credit. The big improvement here is that there's actual dialogue and the ladies have names and written lines. Also, for once in an anime-styled smut game, the MC isn't a jerk. In fact, this "Kai" is a superbly positive fellow I can respect. Too bad that doesn't really go anywhere. Each lady's conversation -and yes, each lady *only gets one* conversation - is about being nervous joining a... herd. This cow roleplay thing definitely is a matter of taste, I guess. Anyway, each lady's shyness and worries about being new are honestly so similar that I think a lot of these conversations could have just as easily been all from the same character talking five or six times as from six separate characters. It's not bad, but I wish they'd have used this opportunity to give each girl a little more distinction to make her, and her reasons for being worried about being new, stand out a little more from the others. But maybe just as well they didn't, because, again, each girl only gets one conversation, being in the SFW swaying models; then it just gets straight to the smut. It'd be nice if there'd been an intermediary SFW scene where Kai spends a scene with each girl addressing, or witnessingher addressing, her own specific reasons for having felt nervous about being new. It would have capitalized on this company finally making a puzzle smut game where the girls actually have names and dialogue. Instead, it's right to NSFW, with no spoken lines or anything, though to be fair it's not like spoken lines during the sex scenes would do much about the whiplash. ____ As for the sex scenes themselves, once again, it has the disadvantage of there being no female orgasm. However, I do like that, once again, it seems, at least, that the women are enjoying it - and unlike in Hime and Neko Maid, I think I actually saw one of the women with an NSFW detail offering a much better evidence that it's good for her. Still it was just the one, and women are all submissive, it seems, which gets redundant. I'd say the NSFW scenes could be taken or left, either way. ____ This is definitely the least bad of the puzzle smut games I've seen from "Hunny Bunny", but I'd say that they have quite a bit of building to do on the advantages of this before I'd start recommending them, per se. Still, if you're into the whole cow roleplay fetish (why, though!?), this one might be regularly reusable for you when you want smut. Take your pick. Just know that, ironically for what you'd think for a cow-lady-themed smut game, there is no breast play in this one.

Cow Girls 3 Stories, developed by Chibi Chick and published by Hunny Bunny Studio, is a small-scale, adult-oriented puzzle title that leans heavily into relaxed gameplay and visual rewards rather than mechanical depth or narrative ambition. Designed as a casual experience meant for short, low-effort play sessions, the game positions itself squarely within a niche audience that values collectible artwork, light interaction, and an unhurried pace. From the outset, it makes no attempt to disguise its priorities: the puzzles exist primarily as a framework for unlocking illustrated scenes, and everything else is built around that central loop. Gameplay revolves around straightforward picture-assembly puzzles that are easy to understand and quick to complete. Each stage presents fragmented images that must be restored piece by piece, with difficulty remaining deliberately low throughout. There are no time limits, penalties, or complex mechanics to master, making the experience accessible to virtually any player regardless of skill level. This simplicity is intentional, encouraging a calm, almost idle approach where progress is steady and rarely interrupted by failure. As a result, the game feels more like a digital pastime than a traditional challenge-driven puzzle game. Narrative elements are minimal and largely implied rather than explicitly told. The “stories” referenced in the title function more as thematic backdrops than structured plots, offering light context for the artwork rather than meaningful character arcs or dialogue-driven storytelling. Players are not asked to make choices, manage relationships, or influence outcomes. Instead, progression is linear and predictable, reinforcing the idea that the game’s appeal lies in completion rather than discovery. For players expecting visual novel-style storytelling, this restrained approach may feel sparse, but it aligns with the game’s focus on ease and immediacy. Visually, Cow Girls 3 Stories places its strongest emphasis on illustrated content. Character art and backgrounds are colorful and stylized, embracing a playful farm-themed aesthetic combined with mature presentation. Some scenes incorporate subtle Live2D-style animation, giving the artwork a sense of motion that helps distinguish it from static image galleries. Once unlocked, illustrations can be revisited freely through a gallery mode, which becomes the primary long-term draw for players who enjoy collecting and viewing completed scenes without replaying puzzles. Sound design and music play a supporting role rather than a defining one. Background tracks are soft and unobtrusive, reinforcing the relaxed pace without demanding attention. Sound effects are minimal, serving only to acknowledge interactions and puzzle completion. This understated audio design ensures that nothing distracts from the visual focus or disrupts the calm rhythm of play, making the game well-suited for multitasking or low-attention sessions. In terms of content scope, the game is intentionally limited. There are no alternate modes, difficulty settings, or gameplay variations to extend longevity. Once all puzzles are completed and artwork unlocked, there is little mechanical incentive to return. This lack of replayability may be a drawback for players seeking extended engagement, but it also reflects the game’s pricing and positioning. It is clearly designed to be completed in a short span of time, delivering its content efficiently rather than stretching it artificially. Community reception tends to reflect this understanding of the game’s intent. Players who approach it with appropriate expectations often appreciate its simplicity, ease of completion, and visual presentation, especially given its low cost. Criticism generally centers on the lack of depth and the very basic nature of the puzzles, which some find too trivial to remain engaging beyond the initial novelty. These reactions highlight that enjoyment of Cow Girls 3 Stories depends heavily on whether a player values relaxation and visual rewards over challenge or complexity. Ultimately, Cow Girls 3 Stories is a niche title that succeeds by staying within clearly defined boundaries. It does not aim to innovate within the puzzle genre or deliver a rich narrative experience, instead offering a calm, visually driven pastime for a specific audience. For players who enjoy casual adult-themed games with simple mechanics and collectible artwork, it delivers exactly what it promises. Those seeking depth, replayability, or meaningful gameplay systems will likely find it lacking, but as a brief, low-commitment experience, it fulfills its role effectively and without pretense. Rating: 6/10

If half of the content is locked off for you, install the free DLC, launch the game, exit the game, uninstall the game, and finally reinstall the game. Should work after that. Same for the second game. Art is a big leap up from the first two games. Look, if you're like me and you just want to snag easy achievements... still don't pay full price for this. Twelve achievements aren't worth a dollar. Plus, the troubleshooting annoyed me.
