WIth just two days left to go, the Battledroid Kickstarter appeal is sat at 98%, just shy of our goal! This is absolutely amazing, and we can't thank everyone enough. We're confident it's going to reach its minimum funding level before everyone buggers off on holiday or has a General Election tomorrow. What does this mean for you? This means that Battledroid is going to be released, and has enough funding to ensure that we can add loads of new things into it and keep developing it and shaping it into the sprawling magnum opus that we all hoped it was going to be. With a bit of marketing money behind it we might even manage to ensure that there are thousands of bloodthirsty would-be conquerors all trying to kill each other shortly after launch. For backers, it means you get all the cool rewards that being a backer gets! Most backers are going to start the game with a big collection of battledroids and turrets and other defences, and a pile of gold. Some even more generous backers are going to have custom skins that only backers get. And yet other backers with until-recently bulging wallets burning a hole in their trousers will even have exclusive skins that they designed themselves or even ... entire battledroids designed to their own specification! After 14 years in development... ...off-and-on, we're finally ready to release BATTLEDROID to the teeming masses.
