Doodle Streets presents a hidden object game set across 14 detailed scenes of 1950s London, where you locate items scattered throughout bustling neighborhoods—some plainly visible, others tucked away requiring interaction with the environment. With colorful hand-drawn art, ambient period sounds, and optional challenges like finding hidden birds, it offers the exploratory satisfaction of titles like Hidden Folks but with a more forgiving progression system. Best suited for players who enjoy leisurely searching and environmental storytelling over time pressure.

A hidden object game similar to Hidden Folks with London scenes.

Pros:
- Colored art
- Moving to next level is easier than Hidden Folks since many of the people/objects are in buildings
- Realistic sounds of city life
- Each level has a hidden bird and can be found for an extra achievement. No hints for the bird
- You can interact with trees, cars, and other objects

Neutral:
- Specify a city or location if the level is based a on a real location in London. About the game on steam page mentions London places, but the game does not specify city names for each map.
- In order to get 100% achievements, you need to find all objects/people.

Cons:
- Controls could be improved for moving map left to right. I want them to add arrow keys instead of only WASD.
- For levels with dragging items, its not 100% clear where to put the letters/flowers. I suggest adding arrows to the designated area so its more clear.

Overall, I enjoyed this game and liked the colorful art. My favorite map is the prisoner map since it displayed beatiful architecture of London and made you think about where a prisoner would hide. For several maps, I still need to find some people/objects and will revisit to see if more levels are added.

Lots of clicking and fun content, but big scenes and tiny objects don’t always work well.

The goal of the game is to look for hidden objects across 14 stages. Scenes contain varying numbers of objects, but you do not need to find them all to go to the next stage. Some objects are immediately visible on the scene, but the majority require some extra effort. These feel like mini puzzles where you have to click on the correct item.

For example, a train scene wants you to locate a black bird. Because there is only a white one, you must click on the train's chimney to release smoke. There are no specific hints on where to find something; you only get a vague and mostly useless clue when hovering over a desired object.

The artwork is unique. When you zoom in, it may appear sloppy and unappealing, but that is the point of doodles. However, it still manages to fill environments with details. The images are already appealing enough to entice a player, but the game enhances them with animations.

Unlike other games, where scenes are usually static, here there are subtle details that make them appear alive. Some objects move on their own, but many respond when you click on them. This primarily refers to doors and bags that can be opened, curtains that can be drawn up, and trees that may conceal things.

The game's 14 stages are linked in a meaningful way. It begins very simply with a single place, but quickly expands to massive scenes where you don't know where to begin. Although it can be intimidating, you can stop at any time and resume from the same point later. Unfortunately, all things you’ve interacted with will return to their default state.

Big locations still feel like you’re looking for a needle in a haystack because clues don’t help. The first big neighborhood scene forces you to open every door or window while looking for tiny objects, such as plants and packages. Since you don’t know if they require extra steps to show up, you’re blindly clicking all over the place.

A first post-launch Update made! [based on reviews and feedback]

A first post-launch update was made based on received reviews and feedback. Taking all of them into consideration, some corrections and improvements were implemented: Specified more clearly where to arrange items in the Yard Sale and Flower Arranging levels. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44734785/4c68dd4e3dfbafaa556f73d7e88ba10a42c9b49a.png Corrected grammatical errors. Most of which were found in the first four to five levels. Made some of the secretly hidden items just a little bit more noticeable, especially the place where the black cat prowls at night~. Also provided a small explanation in the Main Menu. Made a couple of later tasks easier by adding small visual hints. Repaired some sounds that were accidentally muted. Birds on the 15th level disappeared too soon, so their flight was prolonged. Mapped the left/right keys for map movement. Repaired one unset UI reference in 10th level.

So, embark on a journey unlike any other as you delve into the heart of 1950s and 1960s London! Some tasks may be easy, while others challenging, but fear not – you'll receive enough clues to solve or find them. And even if you can't solve them all, you can still advance in the journey with some of them left behind. But remember to return when you're ready for the challenge again! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44734785/7759cc84500909a03c49d5d818e66951b9872c37.png *Don't forget you can try Extreme Colours mode in the Settings or adjust the brightness to get the look you will like the most! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44734785/ffcf5883976b2bde5367605f5eff8c50fc305f8c.png Also,... will you figure out what those little dots above level icons mean?
