The official translation is finally here, for a hardcore date a live fan like me, this is definitely worth the wait! For the people that wants good value for their money, I would suggest getting Rio Reincarnation instead since it shares a similar price tag as Ren Dystopia, but its three in one. If the first three visual novels highly interests you, then this one is definitely is worth getting! Just a little fair warning though, you will be greeted with a rather "special" scene once you start the game ;)
Despite the game suggesting its better to play on the controller, the controls for PC is perfectly fine. If you played Rio Reincarnation, the controls are identical to the ones used for Ren Dystopia.
Theres plenty things to say about the story, but avoid writing this part so people won't get spoiled. So instead, lets continue with this familiar looking chart below.

I'm gonna be completely honest. This might be the best game I've ever played. Ren's aura is absolutely insane. The presentation is overall a 10/10. The atmosphere is a 10/10. I get to play a 2nd Date a Live game to put another 10k hours on?! I absolutely love everything about this game and I only had to sell my right kidney for it! I've been hyped about this game since June and when I saw it was coming on the 5th of September I instantly ca- started saving up my money for it. Truly a unique and different experience compared to Rio Reincarnation. I also love Kurumi Tokisaki which is the main reason I bought the game, however Ren's entrance is also paying a tax on why I bought the game. So far I own 5 body pillows of Kurumi and my entire room is dedicated to them. I have to say this is the best game ever made, I would put this above elden ring which I've scored 250 hours on. ''Foul tarnished, you haven't bought Ren Dystopia? What are you doing get on with it then!'' Is what Margit told me earlier today when I went in Elden Ring to speed run the game for a 9th time. Anyways back with the review.
I would like to say that Kurumi Tokisaki is best girl, her design, hair, eyes, face everything about her is perfect, I have been a fan of her since I first saw her in the anime 2013. Specifically, Date a Live 1st Season, Episode 9, 18:57. I really liked that specific part in the anime... I apologise if I get carried away and start talking about Kurumi, since it's all I think about.
The game begins with you being reintroduced to the characters of Date a Live again. Natsumi wakes you up while in Haniel form for you to then head down and get breakfast with Miku, Kotori, and Natsumi. Then Miku and Natsumi head out. Kotori calls upon Shido in commander mode (Black Ribbons indicate this). Kotori says to call her if anything seems out of place as Shido heads out, he notices it's cold outside since it's almost december. Yoshino approaches Shido and says Good morning. I don't want to spoil too much for the game, so kindly buy it and play it! The experience is something like never before, it's like I've never played anything like it, I would buy this game again if I had the money for it.
