Soggy Beans is a relaxed side-idler where you photograph visiting fish, accumulate beans as currency, and gradually customize your underwater scene. The game runs passively while you attend to other tasks, with friends' decorated aquariums drifting through your view. It's designed for players seeking low-pressure gameplay that doesn't demand constant attention.

Hello friends, here’s a quick update on where the game’s at: All of the fish we need have arrived except for one straggler. The bean machine has been thoroughly tested and is fully operational. A world turtle named Edna has opened a library where you can make your own scrapbooks. She’s also signed a trade agreement with the water elementals that means players may now use their currents to share scrapbooks with eachother. (You’ll have to host these yourselves using the human internet. The elementals said they’d be willing to transport books, but that “water’s not good at storing things”).We’re still waiting on a few more things, like Elsa to find more stock and the water elementals to finish writing their guidebook. We’re also still trying to figure out what to do with all these strange artifacts that keep showing up.Additionally, happy Ocean Fest. When we told the fish about it they were delighted to find out humans celebrate it too :) Hopefully we'll have more to share soon
It's spring here, the rabbits and bugs are plentiful and breaking into our homes and the trees are alive with birdsong. A wonderful atmosphere to complete a game, hopefully sometime in the first half of 2026. We might not know where we're headed or when we will be arriving, but we can tell we're getting close ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ ) In other news, our demo is currently being featured in Steams Animal Fest (now until November 17), alongside a bunch of other animal focused games, many of which are on sale. New demo update is out now!The main new thing we've added this time is scrapbooking. You can now turn the photos you've taken into stickers and arrange them in a customizable scrapbook, along with art stickers and washi tape. We're continuing to add to this system and would love to hear your feedback. The long-term plan is allowing players to make books (multiple pages, text etc). We've also squashed a few bugs, and probably made some new ones (｀∀´)Ψ In other news, we're excited to be taking part in the Back To School Games Celebration on Steam (August 25 - Sept 1st), which showcases games themed around school, study or creativity.
