Eternal Trails is a 'work background' exploration-lite game. Exploration without the effort. A small windowed game, it's a perfect work companion. Take the reins or let your horse automatically explore incredible vistas across multiple biomes, all you need to do is watch whilst you work.

Recommended, IF this sort of hands-off background game is what you're looking for. Definitely not a game that will keep you actively very busy, but it delivers what it promises and that's good enough for a thumbs up imo. An excellent break from the norm. After staring at emails and documents for hours, this is a great opportunity to delve into something. Quickly become attached to your horse and your adventures.

This is a great little desktop escape for me, as a life long equestrian in particular. I'd much rather be out on the trails with my horse than typing away at work all day. This fills a little of that void, until I can get back out there with my boy. Love the new horse choice that you can make now. It is a nice touch. And my horse in Eternal Trails can climb cliffs better than the Mako in Mass Effect! Which is a good thing for an endless sort of game like this. I've heard stories about the mules here in Tennessee being able to go over any terrain.

Fixed a problem where the default view of the jockey would slowly drift down so the horizon was no longer visible. Fixed a few performance issues in the dismount mode.
