English translation is missing tons of text and UI elements, lots of incomprehensible translated text, parts of text cutout, cutscenes and text cutting off too early because the Chinese version is shorter (since the text is shorter). This does not deserve the English tag at this stage.
Honestly wished we had an option to give a middling review. For now it's a recommend but with huge caveats.
The systems seem good for this type of game and have some decent depth. There seems to be a lot for you to do and the art is nice to look at. I have no experience with the later parts of the game but from what has been shown it looks like it will be a good time sink. The idling is also nice touch.
However the poor machine translated english is really bad, and the formatting for much of the text is off. Some text is also either cut off or completely unreadable. If you are experienced with this type of setting its not unplayable but you do lose a ton of the meaning behind what the words are actually supposed to be. You'll find that in many instances that the text is not translated at all.
Honestly if you can't look past the poor translation then avoid this at all cost for now. Otherwise if you do like this type of game its worth taking a look at but be prepared to use your favourite translation tool to get some idea of whats going on.
Also for my other non chinese language speakers out there, the other translations are equally bad so be careful.
I was excited for this game but the english translation is so bad that I was running into issues progressing very early in the game you need to breakthrough in cultivation. When attempting to purchase the resources there is no obvious indication of what the correct resource is the text is unintelligible and there are numerous artifacts of the Chinese translation everywhere. I think with the sudden 1 month delay in August to get this experience as an english speaker is bad given the translation is supported. In comparison this is a minor gripe but still true it says steam achievements on the page and I am not sure if they just haven't been added yet or what but that tag is currently wrong.
