Polda

I was so excited by the prospect of an English release for this game, but so disappointed with the final product itself. The English version feels like a rushed machine-translation. It's very awkward, and also incomplete. It made the gameplay experience much more unpleasant. Although I would love more English speakers to experience this game, I would not recommend anyone wanting to fully experience the game in English purchase it in its current state.

Nice point and click but the whole Polda series of games need bringing up-to-date with full English language. A few subs have been done here and there so you can play one or two of them. I'm sure all the Czech players enjoy them the way they're meant to be played.

Polda 1 slouží jako super retro podívanou na dobu, kdy vycházelo nejen málo videoher ve světě, ale převážně v Česku. Řekl bych, že tahle hra, (převážně s Poldou 2) by měla být must-play pro každého českého fanouška video-her. Humor je takový, jaky by jste od Poldy očekávali. Hodně suchý a... "dospělácký". Občas se dá docela ztratit v tom, co máte dělat, ale naštěstí je ve hře příručka, která vám vždycky pomůže z těchto úzkých situací vyklouznout. Konec konců má i dodnes Polda 1 nepřetržitý šarm, který se nedá překonat. Mohu vřele doporučit.
