I was so excited by the prospect of an English release for this game, but so disappointed with the final product itself.

The English version feels like a rushed machine-translation. It's very awkward, and also incomplete. It made the gameplay experience much more unpleasant. Although I would love more English speakers to experience this game, I would not recommend anyone wanting to fully experience the game in English purchase it in its current state.
