Idle Planets tasks you with extracting minerals across a galaxy of planets to dominate the universe. The core loop involves upgrading individual worlds or making global improvements to boost output, though players report the progression feels slow and unrewarding with limited synergy between upgrades. Best suited for idle game enthusiasts with patience for grinding, though be aware of complaints about balance issues and developer responsiveness.

I put 250hours into this game during playtest phase and informed the developer on multiple occasions that the balancing was all wrong and needed some work (i got banned from his discord for this) although he did say that everything would be good on release. and as a way of a thankyou for playtesting the game i had to buy it when it released :( Since release i have put another 300 hours into the game for it to be no better. very disappointing for an idle game, i have played free idle games that are much better

Boring trash game with toxic developer. This dude ban anyone who send him info about bugs on discord etc. No bug fixed in last 3 months. Game is dead. By the way what you see in first 10 seconds of the game is the full content. Game created mostly by AI in one day. Do not waste your time on this abandomed gamelike garbage.

Not a good game. It's not bad exactly, just very boring, slow, with very poor ability to give the dopamine, which an idler should be doing. Too much is hidden, repetitious without feeling rewarding, and there's very little synergy with upgrades, just increasing multipliers for 1 planet at a time or a small upgrade for all at once. Not long into it you start finding 1 planet reigns supreme and the rest are either completely useless or only contribute single digit percentages to income.

It's new though, hopefully the dev expands the game fun-factor as time goes on.

Patch Notes: New Features: New Ascension Upgrade nad type of upgrade (in the blue panel). Added more levels to the Ascension % Boost upgrade to make it easier to get all planets to level 1000. Now each level grants more Galaxy Points. Added a counter for the total number of rocks destroyed for the achievement. Improvements: Now you can see the current total ascension points to spend in the ascension tree view. Upgrades in the blue panel are now more affordable. Adjusted the prices of some ascension upgrades for better balance. Fixes: Fixed the issue where rocks appeared behind the cash panel; they now appear in front. Sorry for the delay in the patch; due to various reasons, it took longer than expected. I will continue improving and adding new content! 🪐🚀
