Grow a Carrot is a point-and-click carrot farm simulator where you unlock various methods to accumulate carrots through upgrades on a bunny-filled island. While it features idle mechanics and a charming aesthetic, progression feels gated and offline gains are limited, making it better suited for active play sessions than true idle engagement.

Sometimes when I'm lonely I like to paint myself orange, strip naked, and bury myself in the garden so I can pretend to be a carrot.
This is a very cute carrot farm simulator with various methods to acquire carrots from upgrading until you unlocked everything and just idle for an ungodly amount of carrots (yummy) until more stuff is added to the game.
Grow a Carrot is labeled an idler game, but it lacks almost all common idle game mechanics that can make idle games fun or worthwhile.
+ Cute, worthwhile world and characters - Super slow currency gain - No closed/away gain/progression mechanic - Progression is locked too far away - Plant to grow infeasible as efficiency mechanic because you have to stay on that screen for 20 s doing nothing - The only truly idle-able option is 1 carrot per 3 - awfully slow
For the past few months you may have noticed that the images for Grow a Carrot's Steam items are missing. I was using Imgur to host all the sprites which resulted in Steam not being able to fetch the image from that site after some months of using it. Now the images are being hosted on my GitHub repository and the problem is no more!Before:Now:Some Steam items may still be loading on the Community Market place and the images may not be displayed as small icons.
