Grow and maintain realistic ant colonies in this semi-idle simulation built with input from actual ant keepers. Beyond basic care mechanics, the full game offers diverse ant species, feeding systems, and a combat mode where colonies battle for stakes. Players seeking a detailed, hands-off hobby game will find depth here, though camera controls have frustrated some.

To quote my reason to request refunds "The worst camera controls I have ever seen."
WASD...WS zoom, AD pan left and right. Do you want to move forward slightly? Turn the camera sideways (right click and drag) and use AD to pan, then turn back the other way.
Want to fix the angle? Good bloody luck!
I could barely get the camera to get on the ants, but from what I could see the Queen's animations (especially her legs) were off and she and the workers clipped through the walls nearly constantly.
The "battles" are also rather pointless in my view. Just give a proper "income" or just put in a sandbox mode!
The demo didn't impress me much because it had little content and required a lot of grinding. But the full version exceeded my expectations. Now, there's a great variety of content, including different types of ants, foods, and items to purchase. Dev even added a combat mode where you can bet in-game money on ant battles, which makes the game way more engaging. So, even though I wasn't initially interested, it has now become to me an appealing idle game to have running while doing other things.

Hi, I fixed some bugs.Changelog: This bug relating to leaf cutter and honeypot ants not checking if they're in a valid nest properly (https://steamcommunity.com/app/2827520/discussions/0/586181093023264444/)Leaf cutter ants don't get moldy anymore, they are now ignored by the mold decals. This could potentially cause performance issues since it's a small graphics change, let me know if it doesSmall rephrase of the movement tutorial
Hi! The Earth Appreciation Festival ended a couple days ago and we raised 1900 dollars! As promised it's been donated to New Incentives. Here's a link to the charity, they do really great work: https://www.newincentives.org/(Equals about 2105 USD. 1900 USD is from the Earth Appreciation Festival sale and 205 USD is from Isopod Keeping Simulator revenue) The 1900 USD is the total sales minus steams cut and expected refunds.
Hi, someone on the Discord reported a bug caused by plugged in controllers/steering wheels make the camera spin. I added a button in the settings that should fix this. It doesn't turn off lateral movement because that would take longer to fix but if you still have issues with that let me know and I'll fix it.Changelog:Added setting to ignore controller input to settings menu
