This is a lovely little HOG where the cats we collect join a choir and start singing. The more cats we collect the more complete the music gets. Apart from the kittens we collect money bags that allow us to purchase band members. I find this a great way to indicate progress and also to provide incentive to move forward.
Fans can also be found in Paris and they are willing to pay for our music. But they only start providing this service if a certain number of cats have already been found. Eventually, income will be regular so we can easily hire the remaining band members and also use the hint feature which also costs money. Singers can be muted if you wish to hear a specific melody.
Fun little HOG that tries to be innovative in the sea of cat-based HOG on Steam and manages to succeed. Highly recommended!
There are not enough words to describe how cute and fun this game was! Shy Cats Hidden Tracks - Paris has so much going on the map; from moving cars, clouds, and shuffling trees to dancing NPCs that give out money periodically when you collect enough cats and hire musicians. It's very lively, and vibrant in 2D colours and textures. I love it.
You're looking for cats and money bags, so it's 2 hidden object tasks. It's quite unique from other hidden object cat games for that reason. Another unique feature that I enjoyed is the audio - the more cats and musicians you have, the more vibrant the background music becomes as you neat completion (but don't worry, you can also mute sounds or certain characters by simply clicking on them).
I give Shy Cats Hidden Tracks - Paris two paws thumbs up, and would suggest this game to anyone. The game is completely free, plus it has cats.
