Fun little game, but feels more proof-of-concepty currently.
It's your usual room-to-room auto-attack horde survivor roguelike, but with a pretty unique twist where you can affix runes to your weapons to change how they work, from boosting their stats to changing their projectile patters and more.
A little rough as it is, but definitely has potential. You can already make a variety of builds with different stats, weapons and artifacts.
- Crashed a few times on me, hope that gets fixed.
- I think the RNG should be more weighted. Sometimes you get multiple shops in a row from the start and have an easy time, sometimes you die to the first elite because you got no upgrades at all and literally can't reach them. Similarly, starting runes can either be great or very poor.
- On-hit invincibility would be nice. As it is, you can die instantly from a single mistake regardless of how much HP or defense you have, because projectiles register simultaneously with no recovery period.
- I'm yet to see a significant benefit from runes that change projectile patterns. Keeping them on standard autofire seems to be optimal for most weapons.
- Hope more music gets added
Will keep an eye out for the full release for sure.
