About this game

“A cute game for cat lovers of all ages! There are several maps and the opportunity to look for furry ones that are hiding intelligently!”

Happy Fish has so far developed two HOGs and this was the first. The title after Find Cats is supposed to say Meow star looking for cats (at least according to Google Translate). Cats are relatively easy to find but some are hidden and to make them appear you have to click on an object. For instance, on the lid of a box or a door. The game grants you achievements only for these hidden cats and one for not using the hint function, at all. As an interesting feature each of the 3 levels have an object we can move. For instance, a small spaceship toy we find in the city and then clicking on the moon we are transported to another level with some additional cats. In total this means there are 6 levels. This is a good HOG. Nothing we haven't really seen before but there is nothing wrong with following in the footsteps (or scratch marks?) of others.
Finding cats in the stars will take you to another planet quite literally
This Hidden Object game is as entertaining as rewarding. Taking inspiration from gems already known within the genre without crossing the fine line between inspiration and plagiarism. Thank goddess for that! The art and music department is quite pleasing, and the menu theme reminded me, in a way, of the style of the tunes which “The Sims” conveys. The game offers 4 maps in total and each one of them has a hidden area, accessible by finding special vehicles and such. All the maps have 100 hidden cats waiting for their pleasing meows to be heard once they are spotted. The free DLC includes the feature of cats hiding in secret hideouts that will come out once you click on the bullseye! (Yup! Your mind probably wandered to the games of Devcats after reading that) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3262558456
Gameplay & Features:
The magnifying glass symbol in this game is not equivalent to the HINT tool, but rather to the zoom feature… Even so, you’ll still be able to zoom in with the mouse wheel, as we are used to. While the question mark is not equivalent to the control panel nor the instructions, in fact it is the hint system (which after each use needs 60 seconds to cool down). If there are no cats on the map, and you press the hint system, a red cross will be displayed over it indicating that the remaining cats you need to find are hidden on the secondary map or the main one, depending on your current location at the time you clicked on it... Therefore, you won’t have to wait the necessary time to use it again, as if losing a chance. Once you switch maps, the hint will still be active. The map of the girl's room with the paintings "is quite difficult" since the camera angle plays against the player, and there is no way to see the paintings on the wall properly. You’ll need to use your cat-lover instincts to guide you through your search within the hanging portraits. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3262558481 A feature that I’d never crossed paths with is the way this game represents the score obtained with the little paws displayed below each level in the main menu. And is based on the number of clues used while completing the challenge in every map. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3262558402 Some of the special cats won’t appear even if you click on their correct hideout to make them come out of their hidden place. It happened to me twice, and I loaded back the map, clicking on the spot I thought they would be and they appeared.
Things I would like to highlight:

An affordable game, entertaining enough to give it a try.
Free DLC available in the store which adds more cats to find alongside more fun!
Has either achievements and Steam Cloud available.
Aesthetically pleasant.

Follow Trust Witchy, if you'd also want to spread love for cats all over the world and beyond!
A hidden cat game that doesn’t just hide cats—it hides good secrets too. With smart feline placement, cozy art, and a surprise
free DLC
tucked inside the game itself, this little gem delivers a compact but purr-sistently fun experience. Hints point you in the general direction without ruining the “aha!” moments, and achievements reward your sharpest finds rather than spamming you with one per paw. It’s short (around 45 minutes total), but well worth the price, especially if you love clever hiding spots and varied kitty designs. Bonus points for the sneaky use of black and white kitties blending into negative space : finally, a game that weaponizes contrast in the cutest way possible. Zoom could be sharper and a few cats hide behind UI bits (rude), but overall, this is a quality furball hunt. Just resist using hints if you want that sweet 100%!
