Idle Hero TD pairs tower defense strategy with an auto-battler system where you position fantasy heroes to fend off endless enemy waves. Deploy and upgrade dozens of champions to exploit synergies and special abilities, then let the game progress offline. Fair warning: the monetization is heavily geared toward spending, with steep paywalls limiting free-to-play progression.

$15.00 game being sold for $150. Before you can say you can earn stuff for free... NO. I am not going to play on the sh experience. I view a game's cost as the amount of the developers are charging for the full premium experience. They want a LOT more money than this game is remotely worth to un-handicap yourself. I would have paid you $15.00 for this game but your money-grubbing and unabashed greed means I'm just uninstalling after a few minutes and leaving a scathing review.

Don't contribute to their player numbers. Don't be whale fodder to boost whale egos. Don't give them $$ to be competitive. You're the loser if you're doing that because you're the one losing money so that they can tell you how cool you are. Don't fall for the traps.

On top of that they have essentially unbound spending by way of gold, gems, and etc... so it turns into full out wallet wars.. and the only winner in a wallet war is the developer. Everyone else loses.

Please don't fall for this game. What might look like $15.00 is actually one of many expenses.

They talked about how Cypher should be going against AI rather than players in the Discord because Cypher is such a whale that they crush everyone else. Do you want to be part of that fodder getting destroyed by Cypher's wallet? I've seen Cypher on other mobile games. They're a HUGE whale.

Disgustingly Pay-to-Win

First off, it's a mobile game. The word 'tap' appears literally everywhere.
Secondly, the game is massively, hilariously, disgustingly P2W.
You can make the 'numbers go up' in the game, but your 'numbers go down' in your bank account.
This actually would have been a mildly-fun game, if it wasn't so massively pay-to-win.

This game hits just about every square in predatory microtransaction bingo. Would not recommend.

Patch v16.21 - Minor Balance Improvements

Changes: Damage and Gold Master Runes have changed to "Progressive" bonuses, meaning they continually get stronger with each one you earn. This should ensure these time-gated Runes remain valuable for a very long time. Made "Instant Spell" procs more "instant". They previously reset to a 1s cooldown, but now they reset to 0.01s, which might help your hourly gains and in niche micro cases such as with the PvP Immortal Boss. Slightly increased Supreme Tech in Battlepass rewards and the $25 Resource Pack.

Update v16.2 - Master League II, End-game Upgrades, and Balance Improvements

New Content: Master League II: players in the Master League for the PvP Immortal Boss can get promoted to Master League II by dealing enough damage during the event. This league has the same requirements and rewards, but is designed to separate the try-hards from the lazy leechers, since this is a coop event. Master Rune Pack: spend gems OR real money (you cannot buy both) once per week to purchase these new powerful Runes. Several new end-game upgrades in various menus, including super powerful Progressive Damage and Gold upgrades in the Gem menu! Changes: Changed the Progressive Rank Exp Master Rune to a flat +5k exp rune. It provides the same total value when maxed, but is much more worthwhile at the beginning now because it doesn’t have to progressively build up its bonus (which is important since they are so slow to obtain). Increased energy costs and upgrade times of a few of the Energy and Exp automation upgrades. These received a huge buff a few updates ago, but their costs didn’t increase to match their new OPness. Reduced the requirements for the automation Ultimus Spawn Type setting upgrade. Slightly increased Runemaster's HP. A lot of rebalancing around various rewards and premium packs. Some were buffed, some were nerfed. They scale better according to your current progress now. These changes were necessary to restore balance to the game's economy, which has changed significantly over the past several months. Certain gem packs and real money packs had lost a lot of their value over time, especially for end-game players. Nerfed a few Battlepass resources, while buffing others. Buffed the Resource Packs, Rune Packs, and Ultimus Token Packs. Buffed the Daily Gift Rewards. Buffed the Weekly Promo Packs. Buffed the Holiday Promo Packs. Bug Fixes: Fixed bug in the PvP Boss leaderboard where when someone killed the boss (2.15b dmg) it showed them as dealing 0 damage at the top of the leaderboard. Fixed a bug in Master League PvP Boss letting you go over the 3m...
