Land of Mushrooms may appeal to the cosy gamers (I'm one myself and I certainly got drawn in by it), but the fact is that it's nothing new. The marketing makes this sound like such a mystical game, but it's just a reskin of various existing drop-item merging games that you can play online, on your phone, and on Roblox for free.
It is very cute and the design choices are appealing, so if you like merging games or you're a fan of the Suika watermelon game but want something a little more cottagecore-esque, this could be a good choice for you.
The other reason I'm not recommending it is because the 8 DLCs feel like a money-grab. Instead of asking players to pay more for skins and backgrounds, why not make the game cost a little more and make them unlockables?
