Bauhaus Bonk strips arcade action down to a single button: pivot your way through 54 geometric levels by alternating spins to dodge obstacles and chase leaderboard times. Its minimalist control scheme pairs with striking Bauhaus-inspired visuals and intentional level design that rewards both methodical perfection and speedrunning, making it ideal for completionists and players seeking quick, skill-driven arcade challenges.

Adorable one-button game that just screams “one more turn!”

I lost myself to the demo a few months back and loved the additional gameplay thrown into the main release! Still have 20 or so levels to “beat” - but even after I have, I know the leaderboards will keep me coming back again and again.. quality little puzzle game.

This game is for completionists, semi-competitive race-lovers competing against others' shadows, and those who appreciate the unique artistic style showcased in the preview shots.

You can choose whether to take it slow and perfect every movement or race to the finish line at top speed.

It's a one-button game that doesn't waste time explaining itself or telling you what to do, yet still manages to make the obvious task at hand both challenging and engaging after the introductory levels.

Try it out if you enjoy games like Glyph, Celeste, or Rocket League custom ring maps — I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Great arcady experience with a banger Soundtrack.

I love competing with other player's ghosts on the Leaderboards. The different kinds of categories keep the levels fresh since they drastically change the playstyle depending on the leaderboard type you're aiming for.

The overall experience is very polished and the level design is feels very intentional, providing a lot of variety.

This would do great on mobile. The rhythm based controls are as simple as they can get, without compromising on depth. Especially for the "100% Least ammount of steps" challenges make for some interesting strategizing in my opinion.

Would love to see some semi-regular new level releases in the future!

🧠 The Clarity Update (Version 1.0.5) 🧠

Woop woop! The first week since the game's release has passed. We are still so very excited and happy to see that no more major issues have come up. So, by now, it's down to smaller visual glitches, quality of life improvements. All of us Spoons are so happy that y'all enjoy Bauhaus Bonk so much! 💕 We received amazing reviews (all positive so far 🤯) from players, as well as curators and also some press. The game is present on Twitch and Youtube and the Soundtrack is being listened to on all platforms, in short: we are over the moon! Thank you all, and keep bonkin'! 😊 Changelog General: Added a big fat category selector on the level end screen (hopefully clearly communicating the existence of all four leaderboard categories) Re-arranged the gameplay settings a bit, so they are sorted by importance. Added "Show Controls" screen, reachable via the options menu Quality of Life: Press G (or left trigger) to temporarily toggle the Ghost's visibility Bugfixes: Artisan, Perfectionist and Courier achievements now work as intended Adjusted the descriptions of Prodigy and Perfectionist achievements Visual win rotation bug fixed Sometimes the game would lock/break when spamming "R" right before the goal Adjusted “S+” grade requirement for level 24 All kinds of minor fixes Known issues: Camera lags far behind Walter or snaps to him way too fast (more reports and info from y'all is very welcome! 🔍) The buttons for switching tabs (settings and leaderboard) are not yet displayed where they are most relevant

🎶 Soundtrack Release! 🎶 / The Bonk Update (Version 1.0.4)

The Bauhaus Bonk Soundtrack is now available, here on Steam! 💃🪩🕺 It took a couple of days longer to go through the publishing process, but here we are: All the banger songs from the game are available on Steam now! Buying it here will support us a lot, but you can also listen to it on Spotify (over there, we even have two songs which haven't made it into the game yet). Also available as the Bounce 'n Bonk Bundle. 🥳 Other than that, we are still pushing out smaller fixes and improvements. The Bonk Update (Version 1.0.4) General: Improved accuracy for run times Bonk Setting Changed the displayed compatible Mac version, as we became aware that the game is not as downwards-compatible as we had hoped Fixed bugs: Timing issue, where hitting escape while finishing the level caused an error Wrong leaderboard category gets displayed when opening a leaderboard from the level select Leaving the game running for a long time causes Walter to drift across the level In Party mode: Entering a name with an "R" in it, restarts the level (Still) Known issues: Camera lags far behind Walter or snaps to him way too fast (more reports and info from y'all is very welcome! 🔍) The 4 Leaderboard categories are not clearly communicated Steamdeck: D-Pad doesn't work reliably (still only had one instance of that, let us know if you encounter it! 👂)

The Mupdate (Version 1.0.3)

Hey folks! Quick first day patch to address the most urgent issues. Important note for you record hunters out there. The game doesn't communicate it very well yet (but we're working on it): There are four leaderboards for each level. The game shows you the most fitting one. The leaderboard categories are the same as the ghost categories (fastest time, fastest time 100%, least steps and least steps 100%). Enjoy the race! Changelog General Settings overhaul New graphic settings (resolution, V-Sync, window mode) Some achievements now unlock during the level instead of at the end Leaderboards load a bit quicker Fixed Bugs Online mode not available in demo / empty level select screen Displayed ghost times are rounded up (Still) Known issues Camera lags behind Walter Leaderboards are hard to understand Steam Deck: D-Pad doesn't work reliably(?) We will continue to push small updates for the next few days, so please don't hesitate to bring any bugs to our attention in our community Discord or this Airtable form.
