The "developer" used the craptastic ClickTeam Fusion video game construction kit, copying + pasting and arranging premade assets, using premade level design tools so they could pretend they're an actual game developer. This time, the serial offending asset flipper, Gamesforfarm, stole a bunch of public domain memes off the internet, coupled it with some AI slop and dumped it all on a basic word game/quiz template in Russian, then paid a lot of money to buy fake reviews from the Russian review farm uncovered by Sentinels of the Store... so yes, this is a scam, and the fake reviews are intended to mislead gamers into thinking there's something to this product when there isn't. An important note: GamesForGames are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. They make it harder for gamers to find decent games made by genuine game developers. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.[/quote] So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? MEMOLOGY 2: OLD TIMES is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
