DO NOT BUY SCAM
this game is a cheap cash grab of a cash grab, do not buy this game, you can find it on steam unlocked for free if youre really interested.
but why is this a cheap cash grab, well the assests are all 3d photoscans of real places that have been dragged and dropped into the game, they didnt adjust them for the game properly, there are many places where you get stuck on geomertry or cant shoot through air.

weapon varriety theres only 1 pistol and its somehow the ugliest thing in this game, there are actually 3 pistols but they all play the same and have the same forced sight on

but isnt this game like bodycam singleplayer, yes but on paper the only thing diffrent between this game and bodycam is the ai, problem is the ai is more "a" than "i" and is only rivialed by modern hits like golden eye or super mario for the snes

Integrity, this game doesnt have any its a rip off of a rip off and it is completly unashamed of its blatant stealing, body cam doesnt have much personality, one thing that does make them diffrent is the phonk music blasting in your ear at the menu, this game copies that exactly but doesnt bother put up song names?? iam 99% sure this game didnt liscence the trailer song either ???? This game is clearly shady as hell stay away from this

DEAD GAME
Iam certain this game is a cash grab and dead in the water, theres no care here, its the bare minimum plus good graphics and thanks to legal reasons probably wont be recieving any real updates as soon as the cease and desits start pileing

dev response: @kc6067 first of all i have played the whole game, infact i have finished the game since there isnt much game (yes you can in 30min), this game is 1 million percent a rip off and even if you make it single player its still very obviously a ripoff, the off brand coka cola named cola isnt orignal either yk. a zombie mode ahhh the classic early acess lie, these are pumped out by cash grabs because theyre very easy to make, infact i think bodycam is also making one. this game can still be a cash grab at 7 dollars since 7 dollars is still cash.

this game is a scam

its an asset flip
it uses copyrighted music, illegal practices
its creator is using a smurf account, hes litterally on steam level 4

$10 for a $5 game, but I’m a sucker for these new 'bodycam' style indie games, so I respect the hustle.

Here’s what I’m hoping for in future updates (at the time of writing):

>Adjustable Key Binds: Customizable controls would be a great addition.
>Improved Settings Menu Visibility: The white text on a white background is tough to read. A clearer design would help.
>Campaign Mode: Structuring the levels in a progression-based campaign would enhance the experience. Make it so you need to complete one level before moving to the next.
>Weapon Realism: The handgun operating like a full-auto weapon is fun but odd. If it’s meant to be full-auto, consider swapping it for something like an MP5.
>Optimization: There’s a slight delay when loading assets. I’m sure this is already on your radar.
>Randomized Enemy Placement: Varying the enemy positions and numbers each time a level loads would keep things fresh.
>Dynamic Environments: BODYCAM nails this. Changing weather and time of day—like rain or night shifts—would add a lot to the atmosphere.
>Added Objectives: Think of it as a solo 'Ready or Not.' The option to kill or incapacitate targets based on the situation, with the presence of innocent civilians to keep you on your toes, would be a great touch.

Just take this as feedback—no pressure. I’m still enjoying the game as it is.

First off, I want to commend the dev. They clearly show that they can MAKE a game, and would be pretty interesting to put on a resume or to continue improving on developement.

But as a game (coming from a person who played the game for a bit BEFORE knowing who or how many devs worked on it), it reeks of...unoriginal. If it wasn't obvious enough, it's inspired HEAVILY by Unrecord. But I'll still try to be as nice and unbiased as possible.

Design- The map designs looks almost copy-pasted from other popular assets and maps. Especially the "Abandoned Building" map, which looks more like a 1:1 recreation of Unrecord's first gameplay trailer lol. Down to the concrete blockades, debris, and railing placements. Feels more like I'm playing the embodiement "_____ from Wish" to be honest. It gets the job done, but not too well & really feels like a cheap knockoff. Tons of unserious text ("This is a difficult mission!!!") and simple spelling errors, the phonk main menu music gets old, and I lost the "theme" of the game quickly (Serious/Gritty? Arcade? Seriously feels like I'm in a tiktok edit lmao)

Gameplay- It's a 2 day old game (from time of review) but it's still at a more playable state than some others. Not a lot of lagging, but on most maps, it won't load at all for a good minute. Gunplay is simple, but it doesn't have to have medically accurate locational damage for it to be good. Ai needs TONS of work, and the game over screen is literally screen recorded static with not a lot of buildup. Sounds are too familiar with some reused assets but otherwise fine. Good game in a VACUUM though.

Misc.- The game dev is 15 years old, so obviously they can and should learn things like proper dev responses (don't accuse ppl of not "playing the hole game", there's a blatant reason for that) and to get the description of the game and the name right (Footage Bodycam vs Footage Rec???).

Overall, this game feels more like a bootleg that would stave my hunger for Unrecord until it goes off. Barely. Not a lot of charm or individuality that makes it stand out, and barely classifies as shovelware. Suffers the same flaws as Bodycam, and feels way WAY too rushed just to get a quick buck in before Unrecord gets released. "This is the only SP FPS Bodycam game on the market" isn't the best strategy to market the game. Also, pls don't work on a zombie mode WHILE also needing to fix major problems for the game.
