Plantasia is a semi-idle gardening game designed to run unobtrusively at the bottom of your screen while you work or study. You tend virtual plants in a solarpunk setting, stepping away from other tasks for brief breaks without requiring active focus. It's ideal for anyone seeking low-pressure ambient gameplay that complements rather than interrupts a productive workflow.

I am quite sceptical about "living in the desktop" games but since I had been following the development of this one, I decided to give it a chance. To be honest, I LOVE the very wide screen aspect ratio of the game! :) And I love that it doesn't insist to be in the foreground, you can just keep it in the background and then bring it forward again when you are reading / watching other stuff.
I love the art style. The base is lovely to look at while you do other stuff. I'm also a sucker for space games, that also might be a factor :) Gameplay is pretty straightforward for a cosy game; I am yet to unlock the crafting part of things (which feels like it will be quite fun. I'll update my review when I get that far)
It's in early access so I guess there's still much to be improved, but I think it's still pretty cute in its current state.
Edit: I unlocked the requests and crafting, and it is indeed easy to understand and fun to engage with :)
There are no video settings, so you can't minimize or choose which screen it opens on, among other things
I basically spent 10 minutes closing and reopening trying to get it to go on my other monitor. I got it to work once in like 8 tries. Also since there were no video options I couldn't dock it or resize it at all.
I don't think I've ever seen a game without video settings so, unique title I guess?
