Manage a burger restaurant with flexible difficulty modes that range from fully idle to active-paced cooking. Burgie's Cozy Kitchen works as a standalone game or integrates with Twitch chat for collaborative play, plus includes a built-in Pomodoro timer for productivity breaks. Best for players seeking low-pressure cooking sim mechanics that adapt to whether they want background gameplay or focused engagement.

Updating my review as the previous concerns/issues were quickly addressed and resolved by the dev!

Burgie's Cozy Kitchen is EASILY one of the BEST Twitch Integrated/community games currently released!
But it is also worth noting that the game is fully functional as a standalone game and DOES NOT NEED to be streamed to play!

It is still early access so I would love to see more ingredients, appliances, and customer types/skins!
But I cannot wait to see what future updates HeyNau has in store! I will definitely be checking them out!

Simply put - if you are a streamer and NOT playing this... PLAY IT!

For the price it's a decent cooking sim
My major complaint is that it's either too afk or too sweaty there's no real in between. There's 4 game modes that you can freely switch between: a streamer one with chat member integration, one where customers show up b2b2b2b2b2b, one where you have to wait 2-15 minutes between customers but I have seen that timer go to 15-30 before, and one where you can set the timer between customers but the minimum is 10 minutes (I really wish you could knock it down to like 2 or 3 because both of the low pressure game modes I tried are way too afk in my opinion).
Resetting the kitchen has no custom settings so you have to rearrange everything back to the way you like it every 1-6 burgers depending on if you make any mistakes (and god forbid you make any itty bitty mistake in front of a customer because it'll knock you down at least 1 star even if you fix the problem)

Probably one of my best buys since years!
As someone that loves cooking games and struggles with staying concentrated for long times, I love being interrupted a bit while in relax mode to gather new motivation! The option for both pomodoro timers and the constant mode if you need a longer break is really perfect!
I only wish it was available for Mac too, so some friends could use it while programming.
Honestly though, amazing game, 10/10, nothing bad to say
Also, I love the photosensitive customer idea, I wish that was a thing people paid attention to in real life

Collectible card system - over 400 unique cards!

Hi everyone!Today comes a big update focused entirely on the card system.Over 400 new cards based on characters from my other games.I've redesigned the card system from scratch, adding over 400 new cards across several rarities:CommonRare*Legendary (two different types!)*On top of that, rare cards reference popular anime and video games, which I hope you'll enjoy finding and recognizing. What happens to my old cards? The cards from the previous system have been removed to make way for the new content. But don't worry: I've created a compensation system that takes into account the cards you had before, giving you a bit more luck on your next drops during the first few days. My idea is for you to enjoy the process of unlocking the new cards yourselves, rather than me just handing them all to you. This new system has been designed to be easily expandable, so in the future I'll be able to add new cards and even new rarities if needed. For now, the card system is complete as you see it.A new DLC on the wayI'm already working on a new cosmetic DLC that will change the look of your restaurant. Right now I only have placeholder images, but I'm leaving the link here in case you want to add it to your wishlist already. It'll be a DLC equivalent to the Halloween one, already available in the store:🎃 Halloween DLC🆕 New cosmetic DLC:I hope to release it in one or two weeks. Thanks as always for your support, and enjoy unlocking cards!Send me screenshots of your favorite cards, I'd love to see them!

Gamepad Controls Update

Hey everyone!I just pushed an update that adds gamepad support to Burgie's Cozy Kitchen! I'll be honest with you all, figuring out the "right" control scheme has been surprisingly tricky. There are so many ways to map things, and what feels natural to me might not feel natural to you. So please don't expect this to be perfect right out of the gate! That said, I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think. Some things that would help a ton:Does the current button layout feel intuitive?Any actions that feel awkward or in the wrong place?Anything missing that you'd expect from a gamepad control scheme? One thing to note: the ESC menu currently doesn't have gamepad support. The settings menu was designed with PC/mouse-and-keyboard in mind, and adding gamepad navigation there was getting complicated fast, so I decided to leave it out for now rather than rush it. If I ever do a console port down the line, that menu will be reworked specifically for that.To be clear: these controls are not final. This is very much a work in progress, and your feedback will directly shape how I tweak things going forward. If you've got suggestions, criticisms, or just general impressions, I'm all ears (and genuinely excited to hear them)! Thanks so much for playing and for helping make Burgie's Cozy Kitchen better. Nau

Gameplay improvements and motion sickness reduction

Hello everyone! This is a new update focused on improving the gameplay experience and responding to your feedback.🎮 Movement and motion sickness improvementsI’ve been working for quite a while to reduce as much as possible the discomfort some players experienced while moving around the kitchen. In this update I’ve made several adjustments:General control fluidity has been improved.Controls have been slightly adjusted to make movement feel smoother and more gradual. You can now change the floor color to lower-contrast tones, which helps reduce motion sickness. If you previously experienced motion sickness, I’d love to know if this version feels more comfortable. Any feedback about movement or controls is very welcome.🚚 Rider outfit adjustmentsIn Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, time is disabled so players can focus on preparing dishes and enjoy a more relaxed experience. Some players didn’t notice when the delivery rider had arrived, and since this character is time-based, it could negatively affect their ratings if not served in time.To fix this:In Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, the delivery timer will not start until you interact with an object (pick up or drop something). This gives you unlimited time to notice their arrival without unfair penalties.⏱️ More flexible Frenetic mode and breaks between ordersMany players requested more control over the pacing of Frenetic mode, especially the option to space out orders more (for example, every 2 or 3 minutes).Although this feature already existed through another mechanic, it is now better explained in-game:You can close the restaurant gate between orders to take a break, reorganize the kitchen, or prepare for the next customer.🙌 Thank you for playingThank you all for trying the game and leaving feedback. I’m still reading everything to keep improving the experience.
