I was lucky enough to join the beta test. The illustrated Japanese kana flashcards were extremely helpful. After completing the test and playing for a while, I've now learned hiragana, katakana, and some basic vocabulary.
I learnt about this game from a Reddit post and decided to check it out. I've always wanted to learn Japanese, but I am very much a visual learner, and always really struggled with even learning hiragana. I'm glad I checked this out, it's cute! I love cats, so that's a plus, and it really helped to actually match the characters with the sounds. (I recommend doing the order sushi minigame first, conveyor sushi stresses me out lol).
All in all, this is really fun and cute, and it's helped me memorize a lot better!
I've genuinely been using this to learn Japanese syllables but i found some difficulty making out some letters in ordering sushi, I hear the audio saying ma ま but its actually saying na な , I've noted some other letters i found difficult to make out but they are definitely not the only ones. this is a great tool to use otherwise, I can imagine if i use this for 5 hours i would learn all of hiragana and katagana
