Fractured Balance fuses action-platformer reflexes with resource management, where defending energy cores against skull enemies directly impacts both your health and the world's structural integrity. You'll navigate combat encounters while actively repairing environmental damage to prevent total collapse. Best suited for players who enjoy high-stakes platforming with meaningful consequences, where environmental stakes matter as much as combat performance.
About this game
A fast-paced action-platformer where your health is tied to the world's stability. Defend energy cores from waves of magical skulls, repair damage, and stop reality from decaying—because if the world dies, you die with it.
Hello, been a while ey ? Last time i wrote was .... Fucking hell back in November.Long story short quite bit has been happening in my personal life. Got JobTouched GrassFound friendsGot olderall of which have been taking time away from me, and i'll be honest this does mean that Fractured Balance got put on the back burner.... Sorry ːsteamfacepalmː.BUT spending some time away has gave me perspective on what i want this game to beYou see, as well received as the demo of Fractured Balance is. I personally always felt ...... disappointed in what i made it just didn't hit the standard I wanted. So with that out of the way here is the plan, At the moment I am working on improving the backend structural code used to make Fractured Balance Next i plan to re-work my Original design to, One Work as advertised and Two be actually funI plan to update the demo Again i Really am sorry for the time it has taken to get back into development, which i why i decided to write this post directly from the most honest part of my my soul (which is why it's such a mess)Vrglab
Hello everyone — Vrglab here!As I promised before, I’ve been working hard to deliver a major update to the demo’s content. But along the way… some unexpected issues came up.You see, Fractured Balance is built on nearly 7 years of accumulated code — much of it outdated and, frankly, completely unmaintainable. Over time, the game’s backend systems and APIs were tweaked, modified, or expanded again and again, until maintaining them became a nightmare. So, I made a tough decision: to rebuild everything from the ground up. That means rewriting years’ worth of systems and functions into something modern, clean, and sustainable — so the game can grow properly moving forward.Of course, that kind of overhaul takes time. A lot of time.So while development is still moving forward, there will be delays in the upcoming updates.Thank you all for your patience and continued support — I want this game to reach its full potential, and this rewrite is a huge step toward making that possible.Stay tuned, and as always, thank you for being part of this journey.— Vrglab
