Max Manos tasks you with destroying geometric shapes as an upgradeable hand, chaining explosions to collect shards and power up your abilities. The game features multiple prestige cycles that reset your progress with gameplay variations, though the repetitive grind across five mandatory runs may wear thin for players seeking deeper progression systems or complex mechanics.

What players are saying
There is no 'prestige' mechanics as in typical idlers that enhance on the initial experience. The couple of limited restarts are offer a few alterations to gameplay or upgrades but it all boils down to waving your mouse around the screen again.
The game forces you to do five full prestiges, each one rebooting you back to square one with only slight changes, and having to repeat the same grind five times just to complete it is honestly a slog.
Prestige 3 in particular feels like a punishment: the whole point of linking combos gets lost when nothing actually connects early on, and attacks locking up mid-combo just drags everything to a crawl.
The skill tree doesn’t help, it’s hard to read and poorly laid out, which makes planning builds more frustrating than fun.
Overall it feels like a waste of time, the core loop could’ve been fine as a single run without prestiges.
