A meditative incremental game where you play as a rain-bearing cloud restoring a barren world. You'll upgrade your watering abilities to gradually transform grey wastelands into flourishing gardens while uncovering the story of a forgotten planet. Best suited for players seeking a relaxing, narrative-driven experience rather than true offline progression—expect engaging short play sessions rather than pure idle mechanics.

One dev? ONE DEV?! How dare you be this talented.
Listen. I bought this game expecting a cute little cloud simulator. What I got was an emotional journey where I, a floating cotton ball with attitude, single-handedly fixed a dead planet. No pressure.

The Greenening is absurdly relaxing. You float, you rain, you turn grey wastelands into a botanical orgy. The music makes you feel like you're having a spa day in space, while the idle mechanics sneakily hook into your brain like "just one more upgrade... okay maybe ten more".

And get this – it's made by ONE PERSON. Erik, if you're reading this: who hurt you? And also, thank you. This game has no right to be this polished, this charming, and this addictive.

If you like nature, chill vibes, or pretending you're saving the planet because real life is too complicated – buy this. Your inner child will hug you. Your stress will leave. Your plants will finally understand you.

10/10 would rain on dead rocks again.
Waiting for second part! :D

Not gonna lie, this game came to my attention because the developer posted on TikTok saying no YouTubers were covering it and I felt like I had to do something about that.

The Big PSA

Real quick — this is NOT a true idle game. You can leave it running and earn some energy passively, but you cannot complete it AFK. You gotta actually play. Just wanted to get that out there first.

The Vibe

What it IS is a genuinely cozy, no-pressure experience. You're washing ash off a dead planet trying to bring it back to life. There is way more depth here than it looks like at first glance:
  • A solid upgrade tree
  • A garden mechanic
  • Hidden machines & collectibles

One developer made this whole thing. ONE person. For $4.99.

The Verdict

Pros: Incredibly relaxing, great progression, amazing value.
Cons: My only complaint is I wanted WASD movement when zoomed in and it's not there. Not a dealbreaker, but my hands wanted it.

Score: 8/10
If you like relaxing cozy games, skip a Starbucks this week and grab this instead.

I saw this game on tiktok from the developer, guy is as sweet as this game is.. the story was really cute, I've 100% the game with all upgrades and plant upgrades, I highly recommend it if you need something relaxing to play for a few hours, or even just in short bursts.
