Adorable and colorful, but the puzzles stop playing fair after a couple

Thank you to Lcc for the curator key.
This is nonetheless an impartial review.

The cats and the colors got me. I’m always in for a good puzzle, plus add little felines on top and I’m addicted. The rules are easy to learn: click screws that match the panels on the right to clear them, fill a panel and it swaps to a new one (often with new colors), and you can stash up to 9 screws if you want to plan ahead. Clear everything and you’re done. It’s very accessible and honestly feels like the perfect setup for a chill, satisfying puzzle, at least at first.

There is something fun in the color grouping mechanic, and the cute cats hanging around try their best to keep things cozy. Achievements seem straightforward on paper and follow normal progression, and you’ve got basic sound sliders (and language options), which is, okay? The early levels go down smoothly, almost too smoothly, and you quickly get into a rhythm of clearing boards without much resistance.

And then it just falls apart. Achievements are bugged (unlocking at the wrong moments), and around level 40 the panels start offering colors that don’t even match the screws available. I thought it was a skill issue at first too after reading other reviews, but after multiple careful attempts, same result every time. Some levels are straight-up impossible without a restart (like screws hidden behind UI elements you can’t click). The “Clean Holes” hint(?) button didn’t seem to do anything when I tried it, and the time-based star system can add pressure you can’t turn off. No backtracking to earlier levels either, so if something feels off or you didn't get a perfect score, you’re stuck pushing forward or restarting.

On top of that, it is very repetitive. The first chunk is extremely easy, then it suddenly flips into frustration unless you retry constantly. And if you’re aiming for completion? Good luck: around 300 levels needed, with bugged achievements on top. I completed 46 levels in about 1h30 and was already bored out of my mind, and that’s coming from someone who already enjoys repetitive puzzles like Minesweeper and Sudoku.

It’s such a shame because the base idea works. But between the bugs, the impossible setups, and the grind, the whole thing turns into more frustration than fun. The cute cats tried... they really did.

Similiar to 3d moblie screw games but more simpler and easier. Filled my itch for that type of games, but I wish it was 3d
