First of all, this this is not a game but an application for time management and planning.
It has: 1) Pomodoro timer. 2) TODO list. 3) Space for random notes. 4) Calendar planner. 5) Cute anime girl working in parallel with you to help you stay focused. 6) She also tells motivational stories about her own troubles. 7) Lo-Fi music. 8) Customizable white noise (nature, animals, air conditioner, etc). 9) Gamification of work.
It's just a well-done app with good UI and with everything you need
As an unemployed person like me, this app really helps keep me company while I’m learning new skills. At least now I can say I’m unemployed but I have a study buddy and it doesn’t complain about me. 10/10 amazing apps
I’ve already spent dozens of hours with this app, and I know I’ll be using it for a long time. The white noise and soft background music are incredibly calming — perfect for studying or working. I usually keep it open on my second monitor, and it has quietly become an essential part of my daily workflow.
What I love most is how well-balanced everything is. A lot of similar apps try too hard with flashy interactions or loud music, and they end up distracting me instead of helping. But this one never steals the spotlight. The atmosphere, the character, the music — everything stays gentle, supportive, and perfectly in the background.
The app is also surprisingly feature-rich. The built-in task list and notes are super helpful for staying organized without switching tools, and having everything in one place feels incredibly convenient.
The character herself is wonderfully designed. She’s warm and comforting, never intrusive, and her interactions feel natural rather than overwhelming. The story moments are subtle but surprisingly immersive.
I honestly want to solder this app onto my desk forever. It has become part of my routine, and I’ll keep using it whenever I study or work.

[Update]: Just wanted to add that this app uses real-time rendering instead of simple video loops. The visuals are great, but it’s definitely a bit of a resource hog.
If you're planning to use this on a laptop while working "on the go" without a charger, it’ll drain your battery a lot faster than you'd expect. Really hoping for a proper wallpaper mode or a low-power background option soon, because right now it’s a bit tough to use for mobile productivity.

We also set up a desk workspace framed by a backdrop of a giant window view to welcome our players—complete with a chair styled slightly after Satone.On vertical monitors, visitors could watch Satone and Shioi working, allowing them to work side-by-side with the characters. We thought, "Everyone will be so happy to work alongside both of them!"—though we noticed quite a few visitors seemed pretty nervous.Some people were even heard making excuses to Satone, saying things like, "I-I swear this isn't cheating!..."At the desk, visitors could leave notes and messages in a notebook and on sticky pads. Along with warm support from our fans, we received messages and illustrations from various creators, including Shimofuri (character designer for Chill with You: SHIOI's Sparkling Scenes) and manga artist Ryo Moriki.We’d heard rumors that quite a few manga artists and illustrators in Japan draw alongside Satone, and seeing it firsthand really proved it true!We plan to bring this notebook to future events, so if you spot it, please feel free to leave a message!We are always deeply grateful for the daily support and feedback we receive online. This is an important update, so please take a moment to read through.Updates for Chill with You:Lo-Fi Story Will Continue After announcing our new title, Chill with You : SHIOI's Sparkling Scenes, during the news station, some expressed concern that updates for Chill with You:Lo-Fi Story might stop once the new game is released. With the announcement of a new game coinciding with our 1st anniversary, it may have seemed like a milestone ending, causing anxiety for some of you. However, as mentioned during the broadcast, Chill with You:Lo-Fi Story will continue to receive updates even after celebrating its 1st anniversary. To be entirely frank, our current sales performance makes it highly likely that we can comfortably sustain updates throughout our second year, so please rest assured.Furthermore, our goal in announcing a new title was actually the opposite of discontinuing updates for Chill with You:Lo-Fi Story.
