Dreamcraft: Lumberjack

Hey, all fellow Dreamcrafters! Some of you may be wondering why there is nothing from us for so long. We also mentioned in a few places before that the first public playtests gonna be available soon. But none of it really happened. That's why I felt I should say something and show you some of our progress, even if it's still WIP. So what happened? We did some really small closed play tests, and it turned out that you really like the concept of our game! But you are also missing some of the features we wanted to add later in the development. Turns out these elements were much more important to you than we thought. You also found much more pleasure in cleaning things than in just cutting trees. That's why we talk with each other and decided to change a few things and add a few more before releasing public tests. There is one most important thing in all of these talks. FEELING OF COMPLETION We decided that's its much more fun to play to progress the world, clean places, restore buildings, etc than just increase damage and progress to another biome. That's why our focus is changing Incremental Cozy -> Cozy Adventure IncrementalWe want to focus more on the clearing and adventure part. We are not leaving incremental out; it's just gonna be a part of the game, not the main part. That's the reason we need to rework a few features and add new ones. We promise the game gonna be a lot better for those who are looking for something more than just increasing numbers.Here are some photos of the features we are working on right now.
