I wanted to love it, but this panda party ends in five minutes flat.
I really wanted to recommend this one. I mean—pandas! And it's by Sons of Welder! But even the cutest black-and-white furballs can't save this from being over before it even begins.
The game has a lot of charm: the pandas make adorable sounds when found, the art is as endearing as ever, and the ambiance (both music and visuals) is on point. Panda placement is fine, not great, but not offensively lazy either. The zoom lets you see enough detail, and WASD movement is smooth even if you're locked into it with no mouse option to move.
But here's the problem: it's all over in under 5 minutes. Literally. One level, no challenge, no variation, and the preview image spoils almost everything before you even click "Play." The hint system flat-out gives you the answer, which kills any remaining fun. I’m a big fan of cozy short games, but this one doesn't even reach “snack” status. It's more of a single bite.
Final verdict: It's okay for collectors, kids, or achievement hunters, but with this price tag and runtime, I sadly can’t recommend it even if I really want to.
