My Money Grows On Trees is a minimal farming clicker where you plant money trees, harvest their yields, and upgrade your tools across tiered progression. The core loop involves collecting resources, purchasing new tree varieties, and incrementally improving your harvesting efficiency. However, players report exhausting the game's four upgrades and limited tree roster within one to two hours, with a small map and shallow upgrade path that offers little reason to return.

I wont by it, even in sale.
There is almost no content, regarding there are only 4 upgradable things, not many trees to make money. I am almost at the end of the game after an hour. (The Map is small) There is no Story or any red Hering to follow. Also the performance is bad bad, strugelling to get even 50 FPS with my Nvidia RTX 2060 Pro.
Also BIG POINT for me: The developer are not planning on adding achievements... Thats so sad, escpecially with such a ressource simulator.
Very few upgrades, and even those are boring. The upgrade path feels poorly thought out (T1 = collect boxes till you got every T1 item, upgrade collector tool to next tier, T2 = collect boxes, upgrade Tool, etc.). You get a few different trees per tier, which seem to be quite the same all the time. So its just "collect boxes for the sake of anything stopping you from finishing this in 30 minutes".
There are far better games in this genre for a third of the price, and this one doesn’t even offer the satisfaction of 100% achievements.
The foundation is there, so maybe future updates could improve it, but as it stand (even with a 20% “discount”) it feels like a cheap cash grab.
I managed to unlock all trees and max level mining tool in 111 minutes. Granted this game is meant to just be a fun short game it just isn't worth keeping. Maybe if a future update adds automation and a deeper upgrade chain then sure but as of right now its pretty boring. I mean I hit end game in just under 2 hrs and there is only 4 upgrades. Even with that if you stuck to grinding the first tier trees they preform better than late game trees due to growing speed and plot size being so small you can fit more in greenhouses. That is really all there is to say about this game.
