Ani Idle is F2P and quite enjoyable for around 5 hours of playtime. You rise up by fighting against all enemy types which drop items and gem shards. Because of 50% exp lost on death it's not really idleable. You mostly switch between fight and rest after each 5 enemies or so.

About This Game
Ani Idle is an Idle-like RPG in which you will have to fight a variety of enemies. Kill them, collect their loot, take a rest, do some quests and craft your gear to become more and more powerful.
What players are saying
This is definitely not an idle game. You have to play close attention as if you die, there is a 50% exp penalty. You also have to manually activate your main ability. In addition, the UI for combat is badly designed. Your character and the enemy monster are on opposite sides of the screen, which means you are constantly shifting your eyes back and forth trying to gauge when to use the special move and when it is time to flee.
Clicker? I barely know her! Is this a clicker game? Not really. Is this an idle game? No, not that either. Although it brings upon memories of old turn-based role-playing games, it doesn't has that same feel to it. Based on in-game actions alone, this game would have to be considered a clicker game in my opinion. Either way, its great. The game this reminds me of most, which also led to the verdict of "clicker", is Clicker Heroes. Although different, the overall idea is somewhat similar. The only main difference is that Ani Idle is 10,000 times better than Clicker Heroes ever was. I don't have enough time to explain why, but lets just say that the addition of the dungeons, quests, inventory, crafting, and rest/random encounters features are all of the reasons why. 9.5/10. Fantastic and creative for its genre. Stylized. Somewhat odd layout and design choices. I hope to continue enjoying this amazing game in the following weeks (if time allows).
